This week has been exhausting from the negativity of the people around.
And so i decided to watch one of my favorite drama back when I was a kid.
Synopsis: 15-year-old Ikeuchi Aya is an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a soon-to-be high schooler. However, odd things have been happening to Aya lately. She has been falling down often and walks strange. Her mother, Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration - a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat.

I watched it again to cheer myself up, I wanted to remind myself that all is good despite all bad things that happened to us.It is also my motivation to continue my plan in the field of scientific research.It might not be in the field of neurology anymore but at least I can make a part ro save a life in the future.The future is uncertain but I know my family and friends are there to support me.
Pandemic is on going and though the virus is easily transmitted, We can still do things to prevent it from harming us while Aya(The protagonist) on the other hand is suffering from a disease that even the medical field can't cure.Even when I was a kid. I still ask myself if I was in her situation what am I gonna do? How am I gonna handle it? What will be my reaction.I'm also thinking if my parents are gonna be okay even when I'm gone.The what ifs are endless.
But still the show kept me thankful for a lot of things so even if its a heavy drama and I might end up with colds after I watched.I still watch it to cheer myself up.Ironical but it works.
