Instead of discussing the serious stuff, I want to share tips that are relaxed but very useful for all schools and sects, hahaha. In this day and age, especially for typists like me, the two gadgets that must be used daily are laptops and cellphones (Android). The problem is sometimes there is text on the cellphone but needs to be written on the laptop or sometimes the file is on the laptop but needs to be written on the cellphone application. How to do?

There are old ways like file transfer between the two using a cable. A less old-fashioned way is to transfer using applications such as Share-it, FTP, etc. There are also those that are more practical without having to transfer, for example using a third-party application that can sync in the cloud both on the cellphone and computer and then copy and paste via the application installed on both the cellphone and computer.

But this time I want to share the easiest and fastest tips, namely directly Copy-Paste between laptops and cellphones. In principle, the mechanism is the same as using the cloud, but this can be done directly without any hassle.

What is copied on the cellphone can be directly pasted on the laptop and vice versa. Imagine that you scan the OCR of the text of a book/document using a cellphone and then paste it directly into Word on your laptop to turn it into a document. Or maybe you're reading a document on your laptop when you find a cool snippet that you want to share on social media using your cellphone. Very cool right? It's easy:

LAPTOP SETTINGS

  • Windows laptops. I don't know if it's a Mac or not. I tried it on Windows 10.
  • Login in Windows using a Microsoft account. Create it first if you don't have it then use it as a login account.
  • Laptop must be connected to the Internet.
  • Go to settings > system > clipboard > clipboard history > Sync across devices make sure it's On

HAPE SETTINGS

  • On your cellphone, make sure you use the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard. Install from Playstore.
  • Login in this Microsoft SwiftKey application using the same Microsoft account as Windows earlier
  • in the application, go to settings > Rich Input > clipboard.
    -Enable option: Sync clipboard history.

Well done and happy.

That's all from me, please input and support from all steemians
