There is a building named biological centre where we produce some vaccine and work on the animal viruses.
So this was the biggest opportunity for me to attend the training because they selected only top 10 students for there training and thank God I'm in top 10 students.
A got a lot of learning from their training and leaned many more things about the level three laboratory.
Off to Biological Center
Our way started from our department which is medical laboratory technology but the biological centre is near to our hostel but we have to go to the department because it was the instructions from our teacher. To get together here and went to the centre together in a single bus so me and my friends reached biological centre in a few minutes.
Work on cell line of FMD virus
So we entered the biological centre. Teaching and meeting room there were all the teachers who were sitting there and waiting for us.
First there were lectures of different teachers on different topics like bio risk and bio management because we have to learn something before entering the laboratory.

We learned the total precautions on how to work and behave in the laboratory.
Then we entered the laboratory it was fully outstanding and good laboratory.

  • We worked on the.
  • Media preparation.

  • Working on cell line.
  • Live or deal viruses.
After lectures they gave us some lays toasts and tea gor our refreshments then we went to lab for practical works.

As you can see in the picture there was totally map of the laboratory the whole ways in it rooms and everything you can see how big this laboratory is.
First, we prepared the media for the culturing of the virus in it. Then we leave it in the autoclave for the purification and sterilisation of the media.
Then we went to the next portion of the laboratory where we have to add the cell line in the media.
There we work properly and lean a lot or things about viruses and the vaccines on how to make them.
There was a teacher named Nadir shb he was very humble and good teacher he told us everything about the viruses and then we worked on everything and got a lot of learning from there.

This microscope was very high level it has the clear resolution and higher magnification as well I focused it in just few seconds in there we saw the virus cells on cell line.
  • Those cells which float in the media are of rectangular shape and these are the live cells.
  • Those cells which do not float and settle down on the bottom on the tube are in circular form and are dead cells.

Certificate Distribution
The best part of the training was they were also giving us the certificates of training which is very good thing because we can add it in our resumes and it can add impact on the CV.
