Sate is a food that is very synonymous in Indonesia. Sate is a popular food for Indonesian people. This culinary is the most sought after and in demand by various circles of culinary lovers.
In Aceh itself, there are many stalls selling satay kulinet, in fact it is very easy to find in every city center. One of the districts that is famous for culinary satay is Bireun district, especially for the Matang, Bireun and Gandapura areas, Bireun. One of the famous satay stalls is Sate Apaleh Geurugok.
This satay stall is located on Jl. Lintas Sumatra Jl. Medan - Banda Aceh, Keude Lapang, Gandapura District, Bireuen District, Aceh. Almost dozens of shops in this area offer culinary satay as the main menu in their stalls. This area can be called an area for satay culinary.
I also have been to this area several times to enjoy satay. Even though it is far from the city area of Lhokseumawe with a travel distance of about an hour, the delicious taste of satay in this area always tempts the taste buds. Even every day, the stalls and shops here selling satay culinary are always busy with visitors.
Because it is located on a national road cross, many tourists who pass this route stop at this shop area. Sate in this area can be said to be famous throughout Aceh. Moreover, Sate Apaleh Geurugok, the brands are well known and spread in newspapers and online news.
At this location I can enjoy delicious satay culinary, they have indoor and outdoor facilities. Visitors can also enjoy this delicious culinary delights in wooden huts. I chose to sit in a hut or in the local language we call it "rangkang", a seat about 50 centimeters high with a seat mat and a wooden frame and supports.
Here it seems that it will be cooler when the air at night passes freely, because it is indoors. So, it can balance the cool feeling after enjoying hot satay and sweating. These stalls have a large number of employees, even in one shop there are around 5-7 waiters.

Their servers are friendly, responsive and agile. Arriving at the shop, I was immediately served and offered a menu order. I ordered satay and a fresh drink, satay made from beef or goat grilled on hot coals.
Beef and mutton satay are my favorite, so they are mixed in one portion. The meat that has been cut into small pieces is skewered on a small stick made of bamboo. Then this meat will go through the process of burning and decomposition.
Peanut sauce goes through a special manufacturing process with a mixture of nuts and a variety of selected spices. The meat has a soft and chewy texture, has a perfect level of maturity because it has previously gone through the boiling process. The texture of the meat is soft and cooked through the traditional burning process using wood charcoal.
Meanwhile, the taste of the peanut sauce looks tempting to the tongue with a moderate level of spiciness, savory and delicious. For people with high blood pressure (hypertension) and cholesterol, it is not recommended to enjoy satay in large quantities. Besides having nutrients, the fat content is also quite high.
