First of all, I like to travel a lot. I love to ride my bike whenever I get the chance. Whenever I want to go there in a hurry. I am going to share with you the experience of going to Thailand for the first time. Today I will present to Yummy Dudh Puli Pitha. Hope you like it.

Milk Puli Pitha.

Winter means the festival of eating pies. The fun of eating pitha in the morning of this festival is different. And if it is Dudh Puli Pitha, then there is no problem. Today I will share with you the delicious method of making dudh puli pitha.

Materials

  • 1.5 kg milk
  • 3 cups grated coconut
  • 2 cups of jaggery
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • Steep:01

First of all, you have to make the filling for Dudh Puli pitha. To make the filling, mix 3 cups of grated coconut, one and a half cups of jaggery and 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder in a pan on medium heat. until a sticky feeling is formed. When it becomes sticky, it should be put down.

  • Steep:02

Now for Puli, take two cups of flour and salt to taste in a pan and shake it with a little water to make a dough, if the dough becomes a little hard, take it off the heat and knead it with your hands and make it into a ball.

Now take a small piece from that ball and press it with your hand as shown in the picture below and make it like a loochie and close the mouth with stuffing in the middle, in this way stuffing should be done in all the pulleys.

Then boil milk and two cups of jaggery in a pan, when the milk starts to boil, remove the pulleys and boil on medium flame.

When the pulp starts to boil, when the pulp seems to be slippery, you should understand that the milk pulp is ready and let it cool down and then serve.

Personal opinion about Pitha


  • Dudh Puli Pitha is my favorite. Because this pitha has to be filled. Then it is soaked again with milk. It is very soft. This is why I like this pie.
