In this crucial time, a depressed person has to face lots of dilemmas that bring that person to another level of state of mind. It moves away people from their daily pleasures and love and sinks into themselves, which sometimes upsets the human psyche.

Whether a person has depression can be understood by looking at various symptoms, among which the following symptoms are important

  2. Suicidal or death thoughts
  3. Showing no interest in any activity and always being self-absorbed
  4. Loss of appetite or day-to-day weight loss or in many cases weight gain is also a symptoms of depression.
  5. Excessive anger over minor matters or being completely calm

If any of these symptoms occur in any person, if the symptoms last for more than two weeks, the first person should be discussed with the person who can best communicate with them to understand their problems and to discuss with them about their remedies. If this is not possible, a psychiatrist should be consulted as soon as possible to discuss and note their responses. There is no age at which depression is likely to occur. Starting from teenagers to seniors can face this disease.

When we understand that someone is in depression, first of all we have to match the symptoms with that person. If there is any consistency in him, then we must take all possible steps to treat this disease.

  1. Seeking help from a psychiatrist or psychotherapist: First of all we need to contact any registered and qualified psychiatrist. We have to share all our problems with them properly. The medicine prescribed by the doctor and all the rules advised by him should be followed. Doctors treat these depressed people through various therapies. This therapy period can be very long sometimes but we have to finish this therapy with patience and we have to take care if any emotional changes are appearing inside us through our therapy.

  1. Sleep can be one of the causes of depression. Sleep is very important for our body. For more or less sleep can be the reason we can feel physical weak which is a symptom of depression, so we must get enough sleep.

  2. We have to create healthy and moderate eating habits. Due to unhealthy and excessive eating habits we can get sick quickly which pushes us towards depression day by day. So we must keep healthy food in our diet chart. We can fix our food menu accordingly by making a diet plan.

  3. We should always give time to our family. Whatever time we get from our busy lives should be spent with our family whether it is a outing or a picnic or any family get together. From being present in various family functions, we can strengthen a friendly relationship or family kinship between all of us. We can share any of our love feelings with our close people, friends or family, which will lighten our mind.

Finally we can say that we have to be careful enough about our mental health along with our physical health. Like all other diseases we have to take it seriously it may be very short or very long due to treatment but I say we have to face all the odds with courage and patience.
