INTRODUCTION

Good day everyone. Trust that everyone is doing well. I am @mukky23 and I am a Data Scientist. Today I am here to officially deliver my business presentation. I'll interest you that I studied geography in college. It was after that, that I decided to go into Data science because the idea of using data to make life easier was just fascinating. So I started my journey as a data scientist.

ABOUT MY BUSINESS

The name of our start up is called M.I.A Analytics. At M.I.A analytics, we extract, clean, transform, analyze data and train data models to create meaningful insights and for better decision making. We are a team of Data scientist and Data Analyst that work with various tools and machine learning algorithms to achieve optimal Performance. From analysing data for decision making, to building of interactive Dashboards for storytelling, to training of models using the best of algorithms, to solving real world problems.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVE

In a world that has become data driven and the need for data scientist increases, it is our job to make sure that companies get what they are looking for which is value out of thier data. When you look at the most successful companies in the world, they are all technology companies. One thing all these companies have is that they are all data driven companies. It is our aim to make sure companies or individuals get value out of thuer data by providing meaningful insights for decision making for the growth and development of thier business.

TOOLS USED AND WHO DO WE WORK FOR?

We work for basically everybody. Companies, Individuals and the government. When a complex problem is being brought to us, we try to simply it as possible . The tools we use are tools used around the world. Tools like:

Google price stick over time analysis for a client

Creating a database from scratch for a client

• Python

Defining a function in python to to take in independent features to predict house prices

• Jupyter(Anaconda)

A crime analysis for a client

• Microsoft Power Bi

A power bi dashboard for a client.

• Tableau and lots more.

MY VISION

My vision for M.I.A Analytics is to provide businesses with the right insights for growth through Data. To create awareness on how powerful Data is. To let companies know they can grow immensely by taking advantage of thier data. Proving analytical services to companies that need it and in the process take the company to immeasurable heights.

MY MISSION

My Mission is to show the world that with data, you have all the power in your hands. That can be use or applied in all aspects of lives. It can be used to cause destruction and it can be used for growth. And for you to be able to use data in any way, you need someone who can interpret it for you. Now that's were we the data scientist come in.
