Fibre optics is my today's topic to share with you all so I am going to delve into its various aspects here;

If I talk about fibre optics then this is basically a technology in which we use plastic fibres or glass for transmission of data which are similar to signals of light. This is a revolutionised technology which has been transforming different ways of communication assessing different kind of sensitive data and for conduction of businesses.

If I move back in history of fibre optics then it starts from 1950 but there was nothing until 1980 so technology was not commercially viable but today we all know that fiber optic is considered as back one of internet telecommunication and data centre and all these are included in our practical life.

If I talk about architecture of fibre optic cables then it contains different fibre of thin size and these are as thin as human hair and all these fibres bundled together in a tube which is protective and useful for their protection. The spiders are made up of glass or plastic as well as their specifically or particular design for the translation of life signals from long distance is with minimum loss of signals.

If I talk about process behind data transmission by fibre optics then it includes conversion of electrical signal into light signal by the use of laser or light emitting diode. First flight signal transmit by optical fibre cables to their receivers which after that convert light signals into electrical signals as a result.

Fibre optics is a technology that comprises of different benefits at traditional copper systems so it includes high level of bandwidth, fastest transfer or transmission of data and greatest reliabilities. If I talk about speed of transmission of data by optic fibre cables then these are basically 100 gbps which are giga bite per second so it is making them very suitable for high speed internet and applications in data centre.

If I talk about applications of fibre optics then these are most finally used in telecommunication systems and this type of system include phone or any internet service. It also has its wide used in cable television, medical imaging and in sensor applications. In industrial control systems fibre optics have a lot of use and last but not least in safety systems and for military communications fiber optics is crucial.

If I talk about single mode fibre optics multi mode fibre optics as well as hybrid cables then all these are definitely types of fibre optics. If I talk about single mode fibres then these are useful for longer transmission of data or signals but multi node fibres are used for shorter distances for transmission of signals to shorter distance.

This technology has different applications in field of medicine in field of endoscopy ,imaging and surgical procedures that fall under medical. These sensors are used in industries like for the measurement of temperature and pressure and not confined to this there are many more applications it have in real life also.

Above I have discussed some of the advantages of fibre optics but now I am going to talk about some of its limitations so first of all it can be very expensive and labour intensive to install fibre optic cables and if signal degradation occur due to travelling from along distances then it is also a limitation and a challenge.

Fibre optic is a technology that place one of the most important role in the way in which we live and work if it grows and developed with advancement in other field of technology because then it would be helpful for fast transfer of data with great level of reliability so that was all about my discussion related to this topic.
