Hi steemians, Blessed new year to y'all !!
This is a new month, a new year and hence a new beginning for us to continue pursuing our dreams and goals, so i wish you all abundant success throughout this new year.
This week is our first week of curation which we were able to curate articles written by Steemians which are supervised by our team, TEAM-4 and using the @steemcurator07 curation account, while keeping objective, impartiality and honest work in choosing the best posts of the week.
During the week, were able to fully used all the 7-days of the week to work and curate hundreds of articles written by great authors.
Our week ran smoothly in the respective days of of which we were able to carry out curation and we were able to curate 170 posts and 30 comments, giving us a total of 200 posts curated by TEAM-4. We noticed that each community is making efforts to stand out by creating different dynamics for users to work on.

- @steemdoctor1 observation on Friday
The overall experience while curating this Friday was very good. It was the last day of 2022 and also it was the first curation for me in the new month. I have visited many communities and different tags to find out the quality posts that are able to get votes. Also, I have curated three comments that were of good quality. A total of 23 posts were curated by me and I really enjoyed the whole day sticking to the laptop for curation.
- @lhorgic observation on Saturday
My curation experience for the week was interesting as usual. Coming across post from different users on the platform gives me joy. Users in the club5050 category got more upvote from me this week, followed by club75 and then Club100 having the following ratio 14:8:3 respectively.
Altogether, I had a good time carryingbout my duty. Let me used this rare opportunity to wish you a new year in advance... I strongly believe it's going to be a prosperous new year for us all
- @karianaporras observation on Sunday
It's January 1st, a new year begins and with it this new month with team 4 and @steemcurator07, I started my healing at about 2:00 am Venezuela time, I imagine that because of the holidays everyone shared with family and there were not so many active publications, most of festive newspapers, one or another challenge in its closing season and few contests but I could read many interesting things.
- @petface observation on Monday
It was a very busy day curating here on the platform which is a really promising start of the year. I noticed an increase in the number of unique images that my fellow Steemians chose to include in their articles. The bloggers certainly did their best formatting the posts and providing additional information about the location where the images were captured. Other than the numerous interesting posts many of which were inspired by the challenges and contests on there were lots of comments to go though. So rather than being preoccupied with their personal lives only the bloggers also managed to be active here during the December holidays which is what this platform is all about.
- @sduttaskitchen observation on Tuesday
Report of the day:-
Today around 8:30 am, power reached 100, and I started my first curation of 2023. It was quite a good experience; I covered 26 posts and 7 comments in terms of several clubs, communities, countries, engagements, and tags. Today I also noticed that some mods are not verifying the posts correctly, and I found the user was already verified; But during verification, the mod crossed the user. That is one kind of demotivation for users. So whenever mods are getting the opportunity to verify any post; They must need to go through the profile accurately. Besides that, I also have seen some good quality posts, but because of using bit-bot couldn't provide support.
- @fantvwiki observation on Wednesday
Being a member of Team 4 who got the assignment on Wednesday which is the first week in January 2023, many posts have storylines about the New Year and Christmas celebrations. The concept of the story around the two big days is made in the theme of the diary, so many posts have a similar storyline. However, it is still interesting to read, with good quality content.
I've also found at least two pretty good pieces of content that are themed differently, but it's a shame they've done a blackout. Next week when the engagement Challenge Contest has again started, I expect to find a much more varied contest according to the theme of the contest on offer.
- @chiabertrand observation on Thursday
During this first week of curation, I ensured that I visit both communities and blogs of individuals so as to ensure that I shouldn't skipped any good quality post. I also tried to search for #tags so that I could also support a great number of good articles. In general, it was a great tore navigating in different Communities, tags and blogs of individuals so as to support them. I also tried as much as possible to support good quality comments and I was impressed with how good some comments were.
In conclusion, It was a great start this year as I was able to support a Total of 26 posts and 5 comments from different authors

Post Link : Drawing
Nominated by :@steemdoctor1
Opinion: I have selected this post for the top pick of the week. In this post, the author @mdkamran99 drew a very beautiful drawing of the cat fish. Cat fish is actually very much popular in Bangladesh and that's why he has chosen it. His drawing skills are really appreciable. He has explained the whole procedure step by step and each step is very much clear. At the end of the drawing, the author gave very important information about the habitat, species, lifestyle, uses and harms of catfish. I really like the presentation of the post and the overall quality of the pictures that are used in this post is very good. So, these are some reasons behind the selection of this beautiful post.

Opinion: My pick for this week is a Club100 user from Pakistan whose post falls under #challenge category. The user shared comprehensive writeup on he celebrates the festive period annully. It seems to me like he has a regular pattern. He also narrowed it down to the way they celebrate culturally. In my opinion learning how things work in other people's culture is cool and should be encouraged.
Author : @max-pro
Club : #club5050
Post Link : Business
Nominated by :@karianaporras
Opinion:I selected for today the publication of my friend @max-pro, which gives us a detailed review of what in his town is called the sidewalk store, where you can get all kinds of clothes at a very good price. He shows us the exact location of the store using the What3Words tool, he also presents several tables of comparative prices in his currency, in steem and in dollars which makes his publication very complete, detailed and with good images, this is why it deserves to be in this top.
Author : @syllem

Post Link : Celebration
Nominated by :@petface
Opinion: Post: The author featured a lovely selection of images which illustrate her detailed article. I like that she used frames and came up with various collages that present her festive photographs well. The blogger kindly clarified exactly which apps she used to format her post and images. The article itself is a lovely summary of the December holidays, the people we catch up with, the party outfits, the decorations in the house and of course the traditional food. She also managed to reply to all the comments that she received.

Post Link : Fintech
Nominated by :@sduttaskitchen
Opinion: The reason for selecting the post:- As I mentioned, today, I tried to cover different clubs, countries, subjects, and engagement, which I generally follow during my curation. Today while visiting the fintech tag, I found the above post where the author mentioned elaborately about Security Token Offerings STO. It was basically a contest post but very much informative; and the author justifies the subject by conferring each point. I also love the way the author presented each point by using proper markdowns. When we attempt any subject, we all must justify it by going through the topic sincerely, and presentation is also extremely momentous; and hence, I selected the post for the top post of the week.
Author : @ishakaceh

Post Link : Thediarygame
Nominated by :@fantvwiki
Opinion: Why I chose this post:
I am quite happy to see and read this diary-themed post, seeing sentence by sentence written showing the author trying to tell what he experienced on that day. His efforts in stringing words and sequencing the events remembered by him, make the record of today's book written as it is. Sharing a special story with a simple picture is one thing that must be appreciated.
I can feel the stages of improving the quality of posts well in the post titled Back to the house/village, that's why I chose this post as the best post of my first week as part of Team 4 curation members.
Author : @wirngo

Post Link : Thediarygame
Nominated by :@chiabertrand
Opinion: This user narrated in details how she spend her new year day with her family in the form of a diary game. One good thing that attracted me to her post was that the New year was also her husband's birthday and she had to surprise her husband with a great gift. I also love the picture quality of her post and the style at which she took to publish her content
Above is the summary of our first week of curation and we are very happy that we got to serve steemit with all our hearts in a professional manna.
