Introduction
Its time to write my week's report which covers my activities as a country rep till Sunday 12/9/2021. It has been a time of serious work in various areas of the community. I really appreciate the opportunity to make this report, to showcase how much I have done in the past 1 week. So here are the details:
1. Still on the Steem Road Show - Days 3 and 4
The Steem Road Show has been such a big hit in the city and elsewhere. We are creating the biggest awareness for Steem ever in Nigeria. So the past few days has seen increased activity. So on the third day, I took the team to Bata Juction in Factory road aba.. This site was carefully chosen because of the large amount of pedestrian traffic it enjoys. It is actually the intersection of two roads. So you will understand why we got a lot of people and talked to them about Steemit. We had a few sign up and still others that will sign up after attending our classes. It was really a great outing. This 3rd Road show happened on Tuesday 7/9/2021.
On the 4th day of the Aba Road show, we went back to Abia State Polytechnic, the site of our first Road Show event. just as formerly, it was really a great outing as we targeted the student community. We stationed just opposite the school main gate. We spoke to many students and other passers by who indicated a lot of interest to join. Finanlly, @meymeyshops asked me to accompany her to a Lecture's office and we were met with unexpected surprise - he asked us to come and make a presentation to the class. We didnt plan for it, but a lot of the students signed up. They are doing their introduction post right away.

2. Promoting Steem top Computer Science Lecturer
The aim of this effort is to see if we can gain acceess to thousands of Computer Science students to speak to them on the importance of Steemit and the opportunity it presents. So I scheduled and we went to speak to Mr. Psalms Kalu whois a top lecturer in the computer Science department of Abia State Polytechnic. It was really a fruitful discussion and he even signed up @psalmskalu. He told me his introduction post would be ready this week after supervising a project defence. We have arranged to speak to some students within this week. I hope to get a lot of new sign ups after the first presentation.

Printing More Fliers for our Roadshows
We ran out of fliers after the Road Show day 4. So after we closed, I headed straight to the printer to have more of the fliers printed. The fliers have been so useful and spreading the word about Steemit. Once we give a user the flier, its easy to hold their attention for some time and talk about Steemit. So I went to the printer and made another 500 copies so that we will have some fliers to share during our day 5 of the Road show which is coming up soon.

4. Mentorship and supporting Newbies
I do not get tired of mentoring newbies and helping them to get well grounded on Steemit. The center in Aba opens everyday except on Sundays. I and the team @ninapenda and @samuel20 make sure to answer all questions and show users what to do. Last weekend, my persistence paid off. I was able to help an old user make her introduction post. I kept on telling her about Steemit since she signed up last year. So she came to make her first post after signing up for 1 year. Her username is @ijgood. Right now he is working on her achievement 2 post. I will continue to assist her to further learn about steemit and post regularly going forward.
