Introduction

Goodday team, hope i found you in great shape. How the day flies by. Its time for another weekly report of my activities as a country CR in Nigeria. I really appreciate the opportunity to promote steemit in my country and support authors from here. This is the report of my activities for the week that just ended. The week ended on Sunday 16th day of October 2021. Here are the details.

SteemRoad show day 12 - Inside Abia State Polytechnic

If we have not been getting results, we would have stopped the road show a long time ago. But fortunately, we are getting amazing results, which was why we are yet to stop the roadshow anytime soon. So this week, I took the team to the spot where the roadshow was to be held, then I decided to go and explore the possibility of promoting Steemit inside Abia State Polytechnic, a tertiary institution in the city. The result was very encouraging. I was able to talk to some students and out of them, 4 persons signed up and 2 of them did their introduction post. They are working on their next posts after the mentorship class they attended yesterday. I have made a detailed report of this activity in the post below:

2. Printing Tshirts and Fliers for the Owerri Team

The Owerri team would commence their first ever Steem Road Show on Wednesday this week and they are really eager to to kick off. So they sent their Tshirt to me for printing since it would be less costly in my city. I sent it to the printer and after 5 days, it was ready. I also printed 70 fliers for them. So I packed it up the tshirts and fliers and went to sent it to them through courier services. I used Imo Transport Company to send the package. I included the receipt below:

3. Making my first Ad in a large Telegram group with 15,532 members

I have actively been looking for Telegram groups to promote Steemit and bring in new users. So after doing some research online, I found Free Ads Group 1, a telegram group with more than 15k subscribers. I used the ad banner I already designed with some writeup to place and ad. I have already discussed with two persons that contacted me and showed interest. I am already in advanced discussion to set up their accounts and guide them to join the academy. 4. Weekend meetup and Mentorship of old members

Training new and old members of the community is an ongoing project. That is why we run the Aba center from Monday to Saturday. So this past Saturday as usual, I organized our meetup for new and old members. I was happy to see some members attend. We discussed in detail about everything making great content, plagiarism, powering up and doing the academy. They were really encouraged and motivated. Those that attended included @, @kingreechy@peterabagi, @justiceanietie, and some other persons. After the meetup, they were really motivated to remain active and do more!

• Saturday 22/10/2021: Training at the office
