Greetings dear Steemians. Today we are pleased to present our first curation report.

This has been a new experience for the team members, so this first week we were defining what the scope of our curation is. It has undoubtedly been a week full of challenges, learning, the team has been working to find the best option to keep the account more active, but it has not been so easy.

We have reached certain agreements and apart from the publications of the creators of the contests, we have decided to give 30-40% support to the winners of these contests, this point had not been very clear at the beginning but we are already working to improve it.

On the other hand, we know that our job is to keep the account active and not let it rest at 100%, this was undoubtedly a bit of a stressful challenge because we had limited content. But we hope that with the new changes in place, our work will improve every day.

We hope that our support of contest creators as well as winners will stimulate contest creation and participation.

Grateful for this opportunity, we continue to do our best to support our users.

Now we will show you the statistics:

Stats:

This week we have reviewed 107 posts. Of which we have been able to vote for 88, and we have ignored 19 by not meeting the parameters for voting such as the state of the club.

These 88 posts are distributed among 68 authors. In addition, we have voted for 12 comments.

Tags

This week we have been able to cover 34 tags, the main tag has been: contest.

@kouba01

As my first curation assignment in the Millionaire team, I checked a total of 16 posts of which 12 were upvoted (including one comment) and 4 were ignored.

In general, most competitions are submitted by the initiative of users (7 competitions).

The reason some competitions are skipped is that they did not meet the club status requirement with a user using a bot.

6 competitions belong to #club5050, 3 competitions belong to #club100 and 2 belong to #club100.

@fredquantum

It's another experience for the day as one of the community curators assigned to the role of contest curation across the platform.

I followed our friend disconnect to fetch new contests but I wasn't limited to that, I searched across several communities where I was able to find a few completed contests and curated them accordingly.

It's my first community curatorial duty of the month, looking forward to giving more subsequently.

Monday, October 3

@inspiracion

During my first day of curation I was looking for contest posts by tags and also in Communities.

Review 11 posts, select 10 to vote on.
4 posts Club100, 3 posts Club75, and 3 posts Club5050. And 1 post No-club, was not voted for this cause. I have also selected 2 comments.

Note that there are contests with rules that request adding a contribution and assigning a percentage to a beneficiary, I left a comment for them saying that even if it is an optional request, they should not place this within the rules.

Some prizes are being awarded in Steem Power, which is a good option to maintain club status. Others grant booming and TRX which is also a good option

@franyeligonzalez

My experience this first week has undoubtedly been very good, I think I have learned a lot from this new subject to work on. Although it is not such a broad topic we have been able to make some corrections to the contests so that users can improve in terms of creation and established rules.

I believe that it should be kept in mind that placing the beneficiaries in a mandatory way for the communities should not be allowed, it should be something optional and I have stated it in several publications. Another point to highlight is that the #contest tag should only be used by contest creators, not by participants. These are important points to keep in mind.

We hope to continue doing a great job and continue to support all users.

This first day I have reviewed 15 contest posts, I have curated 14, 10 are from club5050 and 4 from club75. 1 post was not voted in view of not belonging to any club. Also 4 comments were curated.

Wednesday, October 5

@fredquantum

For this day, I have dedicated long hours to fetching out new contests and completed/rewarded ones across the communities on the platform.

A total of 22 articles were checked and 20 of them were upvoted while only 2 were skipped due to non-compliance to the club status.

That said, contest winners also make up the metrics of curation shared above. In addition, based on the club status, the number of articles curated is highlighted below;

#club5050- 9
#club75- 4
#club100- 7

I would like to encourage contest organizers to look beyond booming support as rewards (it shouldn't be the main reward in a contest), STEEM/TRX can be better alternatives, even STEEM Power can be utilized provided a user doesn't want his/her club status to be tampered with.

It was a successful curation day and the voting resource was well-utilized to reward authors sufficiently and in a way that doesn't delay curation too much for the next curator

Friday, October 7

@kouba01

For my second curation within the Millionaire team during its first week, I checked a total of 14 posts of which 1 is a comment were all upvoted.

In general, most competitions are offered by communities (4 competitions).

5 competitions belong to #club5050 and 1 belong to #club100.

Note: This first week our partner @monz122 has not participated, so her participation is not reflected. However in week 2, she will participate with the team.

My choice for this competition was made on the basis of the originality of the subject presented, which deals with the issue of human activity and its impact on the environment and consequently on the global climate. An important competition in terms of content and action on the ground which could be a means of drawing attention to this dangerous and forgotten subject. - @kouba01

I have selected this contest because it stimulates the creation of an original article, since it is about narrating personal experiences, it also requires using your images. Which will contribute to the creation of good content.

Regarding the rules, participation is encouraged within acceptable parameters, without requiring contributions from beneficiaries. As far as the prizes are acceptable, it offers in addition to booming, TRX.- @inspiracion

I have selected this publication because it meets the standards set by the healing team, it seems to me an important theme, it is a contest that invites us to be aware about animals, their care and importance in the world. Animals just like humans deserve respect and love.

Our user has made it very clear what the rules of the contest are, she has created interesting questions for the participants to handle much better when participating in the contest.

We can see a good introduction, a good design, clear rules and good prizes.- @franyeligonzalez

The contest chosen for the top spot today was centered on Steem promotion where the organizer seeks to know the methods users have utilized and presently utilizing for the promotion of Steemit in their locality.

I believe a contest like this would allow people to showcase their methods of contributing to the growth of the platform and at the same time, others would learn from the effectiveness of different methods employed by the promoters.- @fredquantum

I have chosen this post as the best post today, this is based on the uniqueness and creativity of the published contest by adopting social media (youtube) as the main medium in showing their activities such as a game diary.

As the contest organizer, she has developed clear guidelines and rules about the contest so that it is easy for potential contestants to take part in this contest to understand.

The idea of a contest like this will encourage real publication so that it can reduce the level of plagiarism from content creators on this platform. - @irawandedy

Very interesting contest to promote our Steemit platform via tiktok which is now the most popular app in the world. An initiative and a very smart choice that allows us to advertise Steemit through a short video on tiktok that spreads very quickly. I wish the members of this community success in obtaining Tik Tok videos full of originality and creativity. - @kouba01

Thank you for the choice of posting my steem promo contest in this week's Top post. I really appreciate.
There are many things we want to do to increase people's creativity in promoting steemit both in the real world and in social media, I hope this is the first step to make people aware that the #promo-steem action is really needed in order to help and support the growth and development of the platform in accordance with the motto "Steem for a better life" Will be real seen and felt by all individuals and communities.

Great team. Regards...
