My fellow Steemians
This week, I can report that I am back in full swing!
I can use my left hand again! Whoop whoop!
It just shows that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, or should it be that all bad things come to an end, even on Steemit. Steemians are smiling again!

Steem For Ladies
All is still well in the community.
One of our moderators, @ngoenyi is moving on. She wants to focus on expanding the Steem Kids and Parents Community. We know she will achieve her goals. bWe wish her and the team success.
She will be missed as part of the Steem For Ladies team, but we are still going to see plenty of her as she is going to continue with her DIY weekly contest.
We welcome @ninapenda who will be joining our moderator training program.
The Steem Engagement Challenge Season 13 is still on the go. It is with pride that I can report that ALL posts are verified. Well done team!
A summary of my duties in this community:
- Curation and verification of posts on my day of duty as well as filling in on the days of others
- Educating and monitoring 7 moderators
- Validating MOD verifications
- Verifying new members
- Booming posts submissions and community voting
- Taking care of community notifications and comments
- Writing of 4 community posts
- Monitoring and running of community contests
- Lending a helping hand to members of the community
- Approval of moderator contests
- Monitoring and reporting on the SEC Season 13 participation and process

General:
Lending a helping hand to my fellow Steemians is still the first priority on my list. Four Steemians were assisted via WhatsApp, and more via the platform.
Africa:
It is still a priority to support Steemians from Africa by giving advice, supporting posts, and commenting. It is with great joy that I can report that I am seeing a huge improvement in the quality of the posts.
Communities:
This week I didn’t assist any of the communities.
Curating:
Team 1 is busy rounding up Week 2 of November. I have not experienced any problems.
Issues encountered:
* Plagiarism, AI & Steem Exclusive
Steemians was behaving this week, and no warnings were issued or reported.
* TRX and SBD Rewards
Because of the current crypto market conditions it has been decided to pause TRX rewards.
There was a lot of unhappiness in the various groups when this announcement was made. But, "dit was van korte duur" as we would say in my home language, Afrikaans. Translated, the unhappiness was short-lived. The Steemit team had something up their sleeves, SBD.
Steemians are indeed smiling again, and my phone is no longer going off.
