Team True Colours (SC04)- Week Report - wk 4

It is, Monday morning, September 23, 2024, and the first thing I do with my eyes not even open is reach for my phone. Still in bed, I talk with a teammate to keep another updated.
In the Newcomers Community, I read a post. It's interesting and I scroll down to look at the comments. I should say the comment. It turns out to be from a newcomer as well and if I visit the account it is awkwardly silent. I wonder what happened and if a good writer was lost long before the introduction had started.

Including information unique to you means that you are making yourself more vulnerable for a stranger on the internet to learn more information about you & your family than is safe.

I was a bit nervous at first as I am someone who doesn't really like heights. However, to make the kids happy, I decided to face my fear. After we bought our tickets and went up, I started to feel the familiar "tingling" sensation as we climbed higher and higher. Once we reached the top, the staff directed us to the slide. They assured me that I would enjoy it and that they would help me overcome my fear. With a deep breath, I took my first step onto the transparent slide that hung about 165 meters above the ground.

Another thing that caught my attention was seeing an obnoxious red robot welcoming a new user. I wonder about this: Why do we, who are so critical of "artificial intelligence and robotics", use a robot to welcome a new user?

Thursday: Time to visit an exhibition

Today I went to see the new exhibition by Yayoi Kusama: Everyday I Pray For Love at the Victoria Miro gallery in London.
It’s a combination of sculpture, painting and immersive art. I was really excited to see the new Infinity Mirrored Room as had wanted to see the lady one at the Tate.

Many new users who don't know the rules come in and publish AI content and instead of a word of advise first a label upon label, What differs a greeter from a moderator? A moderator can use the label effectively in a community and a greeter is on the newcomer's community.
it is true, when I joined newly writing up to 300 words was a big achievement that is why I remain grateful to the Steem of animal community for alway accepting my 200 words and supporting me. Today I write more than a thousand words and make long comment that I sometime feel it shouldn't be that long as it is hidden by the load more button!

It was a great week. Many comments were read, answered and made us think, we curated 117. and enjoyed them just like the 38 posts posted by 23 countries (13 are unknown).

We thank all Steemians for their great comments and creative posts and above all engagement.

P. S. How the week ended? Steemit most of the time offline from Friday evening/night to Sunday long after midnight making me believe it's my lousy wifi.
