Hello fellow Steemians! I hope this post finds everyone of you doing well. I am posting a little differently with this one because this is the time that I have to stop what I am doing and appeal to you to go cast your votes for STEEM witnesses. Why? That is to fight against tyranny and attempt to take over and control STEEM which is exactly the opposite of having a decentralized ecosystem.

I am not a technical analyst of the blockchain but if you are confused with what I am saying, let me relay as layman as I can.

Steemit, Inc. (https://steemit.com/) was owned by Ned Scott. On the second week of February, news came out that Ned sold Steemit, Inc. to Justin Sun who is the founder of Tron coin. Shortly after the news came out, our top 20 witnesses were outnumbered and pushed down in ranking. The top 20 witnesses who took over were questionable accounts like this one. The account was created only few days ago and is already one of the top witnesses. So what is a witness, you asked?

The Steem blockchain requires a set of people to create blocks and uses a consensus mechanism called delegated proof of stake, or DPOS. The community elects 'witnesses' to act as the network's block producers and governance body. There are 20 full-time witnesses, producing a block every 63-second round. A 21st position is shared by the backup witnesses, who are scheduled proportionally to the amount of stake-weighted community approval they have. Witnesses are compensated with Steem Power for each block they create.

We need witnesses who are truly elected by us to represent us, not money-elected ones.

How do you cast your votes?
Go to https://steemitwallet.com/~witnesses and upvote those witnesses who you want to vote for. The system may ask for your active password so make that handy. If you are not sure of who to vote at this point, you can refer to the list of witnesses I upvoted on the first photo above. An easier way if you want is to make me your proxy through this link. That means if you make me your proxy, you automatically vote for those whom I voted for.

Everyone can vote up to 30 witnesses. Please use all those 30 chances and vote indeed for 30 witnesses.
