Time passes quickly without noticing.
It is not noticeable because there is always something that requires attention or consumes energy. Yet I still remember very well how it was 32 years ago, 32 years ago on a Sunday. I wasn't allowed to do anything then and I did it anyway. Just lying in bed gets boring, although it is much better to maintain it at home than in the hospital, especially if you have children.
A lot has happened since that day, I have moved many times and started over again and again with nothing. The fear and stress back then has disappeared and I can say that I, we made it. At the moment there is little to complain about and I won't. When I look around me today I think we are doing fine, thete's no need to move again.
My girlfriend also asked me this today: "Why should you move". Moving is something she wants too though. The homeland no longer feels like home, not safe enough, the bills are piling up and the end seems lost.
"Maybe you should learn a language first," I suggest, "one of the most spoken languages in the world there is plenty of choice."
As the day passes at lightning speed, I think of that Sunday 32 years ago.
The sun was shining, (it's raining today) as my Sunday child was born around two o'clock in the afternoon with the helmet on. A Sunday child who today, in her own words, is a Friday child and is working for the first time in all those years. That didn't happen in the past, celebrations were holy to us, but the youngest has already made plans to do something different on her birthday as well. Of course she This has asked me first and I think it is fine since the time when the last bit of freedom is taken away is near. It is better to be active now and undertake as many things as you can now. It's important to make memories to have something good, funny to look back on. We can mask the fact but today is the later from our past and nowadays it is no longer obvious that we will still be alive tomorrow or next week.
