Is there a country without immigrants? I don't think so. There are even entire nations, countries build by immigrants. Australia and the USA for example. You can say it's the past but past or not it is a fact.
All countries seem to deal with the same issues if it comes to the (at times) invasion of strangers. Those people do not fit in, are not willing to work, increase of criminality, discrimination, and they refuse to live by the rules (lifestyle) of the country they decided to move to.
Not willing to integrate has nothing to do with one's history, the colour of the skin or if you are a refugee or gold digger. People love to hold on tight to their old habits. It's the only thing left. It's strange how once abroad the home country looks so much better.
Immigrant, emigrants they are the same people and without them our lives would be completely different. Just like any other person they bring us great things and bad things. How much their presence affects you depends on you. There's no need to be friends just like there's no point in making them your enemy. All you have to do is live your life, do what feels good to you and focus on what we have in common.

I wonder if we still know what is our own culture and not imported. 🍀♥️
