It's not the first time my dog has had a swollen spot on one side of her head. That was already the case a few years ago. I gave her antibiotics, she remained cheerful and ate well but today she looked timid. Time to go to the vet. I made an appointment by phone and was only able to get in two hours later. It's not far but I was afraid she wouldn't be able to walk all the way. Fortunately, that worked out. A sheepdog is strong and does not give up easily.
The vet opened the wound and she didn't make a sound. She has been given a syringe with a painkiller and one with antibiotics. After the wound was opened, she seemed to feel better right away.
I went home relieved. To be honest, I was already surprised that she is already 10 years old. How quickly those years have passed. She still acts like a young dog and I hope we can be together for a few more years.

Photo and story about your dog are a bit confusing. We hope she feels better.
