Hello everyone, I don't know if I'm in the right place but in this Christmas period I'm watching several films and I would like to bring some reviews of some of these or maybe some thoughts born from the vision of the film itself.
If anyone wants to give me suggestions, they are welcome.

Soul is a film for everyone
Suitable for children able to appreciate the vision of a feature film and for adults who do not downgrade animation to a language reserved for children, "Soul" presents the characteristic of Pixar to tell stories on fundamental themes for the human being by offering multiple levels of understanding and interpretation. Children and adults will each grasp those parts of a whole that are relevant to them, which will provoke discussion among family members in front of the screen (alas, television).
Soul is a film about the meaning of life
The final message is clear: the meaning of life is to live. Beyond personal characteristics or goals, what unites everyone is the spark or the will to live, that enthusiasm and that profound motivation that makes us go forward despite pain and difficulties. .
Interestingly, before being born souls are identified only with a number, indicating that only physically living experiences on the earthly world can effectively make our identity complete.

The story shows a not too veiled criticism of the hierarchical system and of the uncritical and dehumanized bureaucracy that characterizes the workplace.Interesting is the reflection on the fact that if it is not possible to decide the moment of one's death, it is possible to decide what sense to give to time that we have available and control the direction of our choices. Time is the only thing that really belongs to us.
Soul leaves open questions
The film does not reveal everything to the viewer to allow him to integrate it with his own ideologies and his own imagination.Pixar considers the public as thinking and offers a picture that can be interpreted by adapting it to his own religious belief or more generally to his own conception of life and death However, it does offer directions: for example, body / soul dualism is assumed, animals are also assumed to possess one, or it is believed in the potential of meditation.
The animation
The animation is detailed, hyper-realistic and not sweetened, albeit caricatured in the earthly world, to facilitate the immediate identification of the viewer, while for the otherworldly world an animation that approaches 2D has been chosen, even with the reference to the "line" , product of Italian animation.
