What is the theme of the movie Circle?
Circle, which takes an hour and a half just in the same spot, is a 2015 movie. It might seem boring at first to go through the same spot, but it's not like that at all. Fifty people who have never known each other must wake up in a circle and survive by killing each other. They don't need guns or violence to kill, whoever gets too many votes can't get out of the circle. So how do they make this decision? This is where the psychological tension comes into play. They have no reason to make a decision, they just listen to each other, and everyone there actually has different messages.
No one inside the circle can move, move forward or interfere with their surroundings. It takes some time to understand what happened at the beginning of the movie, but it takes time for the characters to understand what is happening at the same time as you. Therefore, this is how you feel yourself in that circle and taste a little bit of despair.
You can't stop watching the movie because it has a unique atmosphere and you wonder about the end. In fact, although it seems like a simple production, the subjects it deals with have made it successful. The gestures of the characters and that tense atmosphere actually allow you to make decisions inside. He was able to pass the thought "What would I decide if I were there?" to the audience.

Cast of the Circle Movie:
In fact, it is very difficult to count a cast here. Because there are fifty people in the circle and none of them are the leading roles. Only the conversations between them and the messages they give bring the characters to the fore for a moment. The characters that we can encounter throughout our lives, have been chosen like one of us, and the feeling of sincerity is embedded in the film's infrastructure. The reason why famous names are not here makes you feel psychologically uncomfortable. Because they are like us and tell people to people.

What are the Sub-Messages of the Movie?
Even when we examine it from all aspects, the film is different, far from ordinary and has succeeded in conveying the messages. The excitement is neither too high nor too low, and it is a quality that can be enjoyed by those looking for a different production. In particular, the fact that people who are seen as minorities are included in this group of fifty people, intelligently telling the audience that each individual is valuable no matter what, definitely increases the quality of the film. Among these fifty people, a pregnant, a child, atheist, gay, Muslim, racist, wealthy, and many concepts that are perceived as identity by the society but cause discrimination rather than identity are processed. This group is looking for someone worth saving after all. And, as difficult as it is for them to decide, they agree to leave a pregnant and a child in the end.
But it doesn't end as expected. The film really reflected most of the human impulses, squeezing a little lie, a little survival, and a little selfishness. On your 1 hour 27 minute journey; You can go deep into human psychology, try to make decisions with the voice of your conscience, or see parts of your lives. The ending of the movie is in the air, it is made in a mundane way, but on the whole, it seems to be worth watching.

I thought it was just ok but for a low-budget film, it was pretty nicely done.
