Ideal for those who like deep series 🤯
This is a rare series that starts out super slow and that, at times, can be depressing due to its gray locations covered in volcanic ash and cold characters.
I'm not going to deny that at times I thought about abandoning it, but I had "something" that didn't allow me to do it ... after the 3rd chapter, everything makes sense, until it reaches an interesting and profound ending that left me thinking for a while .
Without a doubt, it is the ideal option for those of us who like to analyze too much, especially because of the scientific and psychological mix that they give to their imbalance ... in fact, the last chapter has a couple of scenes that left me disturbed 🚫 👨 👩👦 🌊 🙎♀️🙍♀️🔫🚫 ... I had to see one of them several times to understand 🤯 (and I still have doubts if I understood it or not 😅 but I love that).
It should be noted that this is the first Netflix original work done in #Islandia, and boy, its cast and production in general are of quality👏.
Anyway, do I recommend it? Well, OF COURSE YES! I already told you that it has an air of "Dark" but with less complexities. Just be patient with him at first, because he takes his time introducing each character, but then, I assure you, they will be: 🙁🤯.
P.S. I think the way it looks is fine, but I wouldn't mind seeing a 2nd season.
