Mind Your Language - British Sitcom

Mind Your Language is a British comedy sitcom having 4 seasons. It was introduced in 1997 and was written by Vince Powell.

Before discussing it more we should know about Sitcom.
British Sitcom or Britcom are situational comedy programmes based on family, workplace or institution. They usually consist of one or more series of six episodes of 30 minutes. In Britcom same group of characters are brought together in each episode.

Mind Your Language is one of the famous Sitcom in British industry. The series is all about Mr Brown who taught foreigners a English language. Mr Brown the young and handsome teacher faces many troubles due to his students who all are immigrants from different race, colour and religion.

Barry Evans(Mr Brown) has done a great job in series. He has played a leading role of a young teacher who started to teach english as a foreigners language. His class consist of students from different nations like Pakistan, India, China, Spain, France and some more. The institute was headed by Miss Dolores Courtney, An old unmarried woman who is very serious about her students.

The best thing about this series is all the characters have played a great role. Every character has used a unique word or a sentence which only belongs to them in the series. It will be not fair without introducing the characters.

• The first and my favourite Ali Nadeem from Pakistan. After Barry Evans(Mr Brown) if someone has done a great acting is Dino Shafeek known as Ali Nadeem in the series. The way he putted his words into action is just remarkable.

This series shows that you don't need beautiful locations, or expensive shooting theatre for productive stuff, all you need is best script writing. As the 95% of the episodes are shooted in a single place.

The series is time worthy and will surely gonna make you laugh. This is the reason Mind your Language was reamake by other International televisions.
