In your opinion, what is a Worksheets learners and how helpful is the use of Worksheets learners in the learning process in the classroom?

A learner's worksheet is a learning tool consisting of materials, resources, activities, and such that the program curator seems necessary to the learning process; the learner's retention and understanding of the studied material.

The importance of the learner's worksheet in the classroom cannot be overemphasized. With it's preciseness and persuasive nature, it stimulates the learners to practise more, retain more, and largely, to understand more. It easily directs the learning process, causing to flow well amongst the learners.

Make a Worksheets learners based on the example we have presented complete with the contents of the Worksheets learners.

With my understanding of the American Sign Language, I have created a learner's worksheet:

Activity 3: RULE OF QUESTIONS AND WH-
INSTRUCTIONS: Take note of the rule and apply them judiciously.

WH- Question Structure

  1. Initial WH-: Begin with the WH- sign followed by the rest of the sentence. Example: What is your address?
  2. Final WH-: End the sentence with the WH- sign. Example: You go WHERE? (Where are you going?)

Non-Manual Markers(NMMs):

  1. WH- type of questions lower the eyebrows. "What is your name?"
  2. Other types of questions raise the eyebrows. "Do you understand them?"

Questions

  1. The question "how are you?" raises the the eyebrows, Yes or No?
  2. The question "are you a student?" raises the eyebrows, Yes or No?

Learning Reflection:

  1. What personal technique did you apply in your adjustment to ASL?

  2. How do you feel about using facial expressions in sign language?

  3. What signs or concepts do you struggle with?

Assesment

  1. Aspect of Knowledge: Mastery of ASL alphabets and words.
  2. Aspect of Skill: Ability to list the alphabets without pause and engage in a short, accurate interaction.
  3. Attitudinal Aspect: Enthusiasm and willingness to learn, and involvement in extracurricular sign activities.

In your opinion, what is the lack of use of worksheets learners in the learning process?

The learner's worksheet has undeniable benefits but the limitations are scarcely discussed. They are:

  1. Limited Assessment Types: Most worksheet activities and questions do not encompass the personal depth or understanding of a subject matter and may only added recall or basic understanding. This may result in the worksheet being asinine.

  2. Lack of Diversity: Worksheets may not cater to visual learners, auditory learners or kinesthic learners and this might stifle the willingness of certain learners to learn further.

  3. Lack of Creativity: Some worksheets lack creativity and imagination, leading to a loss of enthusiastic and inspiring interactions with the learners.

Is the teacher's handbook as well as the student's, is sufficient as a guide and learning guideline?

The teacher's handbook and students handbooks are valuable resources to the appropriate parties, which, if properly administered, can work together like cogs in a machine.

  1. The Student's Handbook: The student's handbook is a learning tool that informs them about their syllabus and necessary resources. This can motivate the students to learn on their own and without restrictions, which in turn smoothens the efforts of the Teacher's lesson.

  2. The Teacher's Handbook: The teacher's handbook is a tool which gives the teacher insight on teaching and learning strategies, evaluation and performance management, classroom management and discipline. The teacher's handbook helps the teacher in completely overseeing the smooth running of the teaching and learning process.

Therefore, the Student's handbook and teacher's handbook serves as a beautiful synthesis. They seek to produce optimal learning and can help override each of their limitations in turn.
