Hello friends and welcome to my article on this great theme, I am ready to share my participation on the questions as given by the great lecturers too. Here is my first post in this great community and I hope you enjoy it.

| Presentation/Pratical activity | Teacher duly explains that a verb is an action word. A word that explains what someone is doing at a particular point in time. He goes on to tell a pupil to come and have a spoon of boiled rice. He wants to "Eat" the food. The teacher uses this to make the kids to remember easily the analogy of a verb. |
| Presentation/Pratical activity | He plays a song on the music box again and asks them to dance. He asks them what are you doing, they respond "we are dancing" He further explain a verb to be the action word for any event occuring. |

I started the class with playing a music, making them feel free and asking them to dance as shown in my lesson plan. There is a thin line between attention and distraction. I captured their attention during the introduction, which made them keep to know what they are about to learn.
Futhermore, I divided them into smaller groups which made them serious and more concentrated into performing the task of making sentences with a verb. It narrowed their minds down and pratically touched each as every one of them, making them to be actively involved in the class.

It was a short time indeed, the music took less than 2 minutes, they settled in, I gave a brief definition and explanation for about 7 minutes. I immediately divided the class into 3 groups to define a verb while giving good examples about 5 sentences, highlighting a verb in it.
Time management is key in lesson plan to enable you captivate the attention of the children, highlight your point , deep explanation, practical examples for each and everyone to understand and good assignments to make them fully engrossed in the activities of the day.

Rightfully in teaching there are many approaches to use when beginning or introducing a new lesson to the students. They can be in any forms and your mentioned one from which is playing of music for the learners so at least have a minute or two to have the mind relaxed before the main lecture commences. With a good lesson plan it will be easy to deliver the lessons to the students and that is why most teachers are encouraged to learn how to prepare one in order to make them control the affairs of each class session with ease.
Indigene time management is very important and crucial and that I agree to you. In this concept we were giving topic which is micro teaching which involves a short space of time appropriately provided (20 minutes). Micro teaching will definitely be different from a proper class session and as though if one could be able to manage the 20 minutes giving then it's a sign that the skill of time management is surely present in that teacher.
