The Diary Game - TS5 (9/2/2024) A day for quiz and administering continuous assessment test

INTRODUCTION

Good morning from me, @destinedhanik from Nigeria to you all, beautiful members of teachers & students, it's my pleasure to be here. I'm a teacher by profession and I love talking about my job and sharing experiences, and I will be talking about how my day went with my students, so I hope you enjoy sharing in my day, thank you.

MORNING ACTIVITIES

A teacher is a role model and has to love examplary life, so I try my best never to be late to school. I woke up as early as 5:30 am and prepared for school. I usually don't take breakfast so I walked to school. I was able to arrive before the time book was crossed for lateness, which was 7:06.

The first activity was morning drills. Here, students are gathered together very early in the morning while they recite their mathematical table and also other calculative questions are thrown at them while they answer. This took 15 minutes.

After the morning drills, we had a quiz competition between js1 class and jss2 class, thereafter was the morning devotion which took about 15 minutes. I was to read out the quiz questions to students while a colleague of mine did the recording. By 8:15, the morning classes resumed. Each class was for 40 minutes. It had been announced to the students that they were to start their continuous assessment test and the subject I administered to them was English studies.

The Js2 class took their first continuous test on English language and thereafter I moved to ss2 class to administer a test.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES

While the js2 students took their test in the morning, I administered test on literature-in-English to the ss2 students in the afternoon. This took about 20 minutes.

School closed by 4 o'clock. I was exhausted and went home.

EVENING ACTIVITIES

When I got home, I had my bath before eating. I boiled some eggs and cooked rice to make a good combination of carbohydrate and protein.

After eating,I relaxed by watching a Korean movie titled"He is psychometric" and later slept knowing I had another long day the following day.
