PREAMBLE

Sincere greetings enthusiastic and learned readers, we all understand the pains involved in spending a lot of time (hours, days , years etc) to create an "Effective Content" only to realized that we've wasted time creating nothing. This failure could be as a result of several factors such as; plagiarism, inconsistencies in language, grammatical construction, lack of coherency in presentation etc.

While many people have concluded that Effective contents can only be created by perfect people, some are on the opinion that there is no consistency in creating effective contents and others have decided to rest their case on perfection so long as good content creation is concerned. It is based on this premised that I found delight in sharing this piece The Elements of Effective Content creation: An Insight into the Periodic Table

INTRODUCTION

In my opinion, content creation could be likened to the Chemistry Science Laboratory Experiment, where content creators are the laboratory scientists constantly reacting ideas to create impactful results (Contents). Just like the Chemistry experiment requires carefulness, creativeness, objectiveness, focus, patience, coherency etc, content creation requires all of these if not more.

My name is Marvelous Sunday Udofia, best known has Edu-chemist. I feel honored telling people that my passion for creating contents in Steemit grew tremendously when I realized that steemit contents are govern by principles of which Chemistry is even the cradle of principles. In essence, with the knowledge of Chemistry, contents can be made with ease. As such, this work intends to provide a "Periodic table" of strategies for creating successful contents especially, here on Steemit.

THE CORNER STONES OF EFFECTIVE CONTENTS: THE ELEMENTS

Just as the Elements such as Hydrogen (H), Helium (He), Beryllium (Be) etc contributes to the corner Stones/building blocks of the periodic table, Elements such as;

Headlines (H)Creativity (C)
Originality (O)Audience (Au)
Niche (Ni)Consistency (Co)

constitutes the building blocks of an effective content creation.

Headlines (H): The catalyst

This is one of the most vital elements of an effective content creation. It is the caption which captures both intended and non-intended audience to your content thus serving as a catalyst. Without a doubt, one choice of Headline should give a picture or near picture of how effective or ineffective his/her content would be. Basically, Headlines grab attention and should be carefully selected, concise, and brief.

Creativity (C): The Bonds

Just as bonds hold molecular structures together in Chemistry, creativity is the bond that connects ideas together so as to yield an effective content. In other to create an effective content, creators need to ensure that their language, tone, approaches to concepts, style of writing etc are carefully selected so as to make their contents unique and captivating. To spice this up, images, polls, figures, stories, idioms etc should be incorporated especially those centering on the niche of interest.

Originality (O): The Atomic Number

In the periodic table, just as the atomic number differentiate elements and makes each elements unique, Originality differentiates content and as well, brings about authenticity, validity and reliability in content creation. In a nutshell, Originality is a way of making your voice heard, your thoughts known while maintaining your reputation and showcasing your value/worth. In essence, in order to enhance Originality of contents, personal experience, findings from ones personal research, fictional stories as well as giving credit to authors consulted should be of utmost concern.

Audience (Au): The Precious Element

In the periodic table, the element Gold (Au) is always considered as being special, precious and is always looked for. Also, in the niche of effective content creation, Audience which shares the same symbol as Gold (Au) happens to be a must watch out for. Because, a very effective content could become a trash if the audience wasn't considered at the point of creation.

As such, who the audience are, what they know (previous knowledge), their interest and values must always be considered so as to make an effective content creation.

Niche (Ni): Reactivity

Just like every element in the periodic table reacts in a given way, a good content creator must act this way. He/She must have an area of specialization so as to give his/her audience an expectation and not just being tossed to and fro. With this, trust and confidence will be developed on the part of his audience. Thus, making the creator more or less an authority.

Consistency (Co): The Noble gas State

The group of elements called the Noble gas are known for their stability and inert behavior. This stability makes them consistent of not going into chemical Reactions. Consistency as an element of effective content creation comes to play when the creator ensures that his/her contents are available upon scheduled time and the standards is never reduced. In essence, an effective content must be inert of plagiarism and stable in standard

THE MISERY BEHIND AN EFFECTIVE CONTENT: THE PERIODIC TABLE'S STANDARD

Just as the periodic table is the misery behind a successful understanding of Chemistry, there is also a misery behind an effective contain creation and this section intends to break it down in details while using the periodic table as a backbone. The secret behind the periodic table is saddled on its arrangements of elements into groups of which some include: Group One, Group Seven and Group Eighteen. Relating these groups characteristics to how an effective content should be will bring this work to a temporary end.

Group One ( The Alkali Metals):

This group of element is the Foundation of the periodic table. They serves as the fundamental elements due to its position and properties. In terms of an effective content creation, the Alkali metals include Researching, structuring, and clarifying. These three elements must always be considered before any content creation is made since there serves as the fundamentals.

Group Seven (Halogens):

The group 7 elements (Halogen) are highly reactive group of elements which tends to attract other elements towards itself. In effective content creation, the group 7 elements include; captivating visuals (Images, videos diagrams etc), engaging stories and maybe a call to action via providing solutions to societal problems. These tools would help attract audience to engage on your post

Group Eighteen (Noble Gases)

Emphasis was made here when we talked about Consistency in the previous section. However, for further emphasis, Consistency, Quality, and Authenticity brings about stability and inert behavior. So, an effective content must act like the Noble gases.

Conclusion

In Steemit to be precised, laws are like Chemistry law of conservation of Mass. The law centers on the fact that "Nothing can be created nor destroyed. By this, it is a garbage in and out situation. With this, the laws governing the platform will always treat you base on your activities. Thus, there is a call for TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY and STEWARDSHIP (TAS).

In order to create an effective content, the principles and knowledge of chemistry must not be too far. As such, it is essential to always check on me for more inspiring ways to succeed in effective content creation via the lens of Chemistry.

Speaking of content and chemistry, it's interesting how you added your idea of linking the similarities between content and chemistry.
