You learned about good parenting, share it with us.

Well, what I've learned recently was nothing new but rather to refresh my memory about the reality of life, because literally there's nothing new under the sky again, all we are seen and experiences or we are facing today they've happened before, but what our society is experiencing today, is what is called modernization, even the sin has been modernized to make it look as if is not a sin, but it's a lie. Making godly living to be hard, it's hard to find righteous people in our community.

So I learned about good parenting from my grandmother recently, my granny used to always say son, there's nothing left in this world for me any longer because I'm an old woman which somehow very soon I would leave you people to go and rest with my ancestors.

But now is left for you, you that is still young, don't allow yourself to be put to shame, enusure you did everything possible, to live a respectable lifestyle, be a man of integrity, a Man that if you are coming from a far distance, your fellow being should see you as a Man of integrity is coming not the opposite (a lier, witchcraft, debtor, adulterer etc. NO), But a Man with respect and good values. And that's the only criteria for a good living. Your worth and your respect in the family and communities it matters a lot my son.

On a faithful day with my granny.

My grandma also, gave me examples about training my children, in the ways of the Lord, because what she saw in the life of this present generational children is very very disgusting, the parents of nowadays don't care if my child sleep at home or not, they don't care with the kind of friends their children are hanging out together with, it's too bad compared to during their time, when you don't stay beyond 6:30pm outside, but today reversed is the case.

She said don't be like that, be different, your children should be different, set boundaries set good legacy for them ensure you maintain the good traditions you have been brought up with, don't deviate because of worldly desires or cutting slacks for your no.

She read the story of Eli for me from 1 Samuel 2:1-ff, on how the children of Eli became the opposite of their Father the high priest, she admonished me not to be linear (too soft always) with my children, but be of good example, I should also discipline them where necessary.

That's what I've learned from my grandmother advice, as she never played with her children neither we her grand kids anyhow, but rather she make sure we live right and do what's right where necessary, coz that's a good attitude for a godly living.

Thank you all for stopping by, and thank you for your wonderful support.
