After understanding the course material, explain why teachers need to be examples and role models for students, and how much influence does this have on student behavior and character?

Teachers' daily activities play an important role in shaping students' behavior and character, a teacher acts as a role model for students, such as how a teacher behaves with students, how he makes decisions, how he performs their responsibilities responsibly, these play a role in shaping

  • students' behavior and character.: Reflection of ideal values: When teachers perform their duties with ideals and devotion. If you love and grate the students, be loyal to the students, then the students will also learn from the teacher. As a result, students will be able to become moral ideals.
  • Behavior: The way teachers behave with students, the way they talk to students, solve students' problems, and behave tolerantly with students, then students will learn all these things from the students and the teacher. And implement it in their own lives. On the other hand, if the teacher behaves badly with the students, then it will have a bad effect on the students.

  • Role and confidence: When a teacher works as a role model for the students, the students follow the teacher's behavior, sympathy, dedication and learn all these things from the teacher, as a result of which they become mentally confident.

  • Social and moral aspect: If a teacher understands the importance of social and moral values and helps the students to be sympathetic, sincere, then the students can serve as a good wise and sincere person in the society.

  • Student Character Building: A teacher is an important artisan for the students where a teacher helps and inspires the students to be an ideal person as well as reading books.

Each teacher has a different character and personality, name as many negative behaviors that you are aware of in yourself while teaching.

As a teacher, I may also have some negative qualities, but I consciously try to improve my negative aspects. Here are some of my negative behaviors that I consciously overcome:-

  • Stricture:– I try to avoid excessive rigidity, try to convince students as much as possible, and try to avoid creating pressure on them. So that there is no mental pressure on the students.

  • Intolerance: We refrain from behaving badly with students for the slow pace of their studies, so that even if the students read slowly, their mental health is fine.

  • One-sided evaluation: I try to evaluate all students equally, refrain from overassessing one student. It maintains the confidence of the students and they make themselves confident.

  • If a student is a little weak in studies, then he refrains from scolding or taking any reaction. In this, the student does not feel small but can concentrate on studying.

I consciously control these negative qualities above and try to improve so that none of my behavior can have a negative impact on the students.

Share with us examples of positive attitudes or exemplary behaviors that you have implemented in your daily life with students? What educational values are contained in these behaviors.

Below are examples of positive attitudes or exemplary behaviors I have implemented with students in my daily life and whether these behaviors contain any educational values or not:-

  • Show empathy and respect: I am empathetic to my students, affectionate students and show respect for their opinions. I refrain from misbehaving with students. And if I make a mistake, I refrain from scolding them. For example, I listen to the opinions of the students seriously, if a student comes to me for a problem and shares it with me, then I listen to their problems seriously and try to solve them beautifully.

this increases the feeling of empathy and respect for each other among the students.

  • Setting specific objectives and goals: As a teacher, I help students set specific goals, such as what a student will do after studying, which path will go, which is good for him. I help them understand it. For example, I ask students what they will do after completing their primary education, where they will study, and what they will study, know their interests and give them directions in that way.

it inculcates the values of responsibility, dutifulness, and hard work of the students.

  • I encourage students to do their hard work: such as if students complete a difficult task, or participate in a competition and achieve good results, then I appreciate them which encourages the students to do better.

It encourages students to be diligent, confident and diligent.

  • Encourage collaboration and teamwork: I encourage students to cooperate with each other and do teamwork. For example, I give students tasks that help them support each other and work in groups.

it plays an important role in understanding the importance of each other in collaboration and teamwork among students.

  • Teaching patience and perseverance: I try to teach the students patiently, if a student takes more time to understand reading, or if there is a problem to understand, then try to teach the student more patiently.

this increases the confidence among the students and they can gradually concentrate on reading.

  • Giving students the opportunity to learn from mistakes: I try to lead students from wrong to the right path. When a student makes a mistake, I guide them in the right direction and tell them that a mistake is not just a mistake, this mistake is a lesson. You can learn from mistakes.

in this, students can take risks for any work, and accept the challenge.

What benefits do you feel from the exemplary behavior you have shown so far, has it had a positive impact on the behavior and character of your students?

A good teacher does not impose his will on his students. There is an original nature, whether positive or negative, in every human being that cannot be changed for any profession, whether when he acts as head of the family at home or when he is in the classroom as a teacher.

A negative character that is difficult to control is the beginning of why a teacher fails to educate his students well, because he himself has failed to appear as a professional figure for his profession.
I responded to the role of a teacher as you explained very beautifully. Correct! teachers as role models, namely being able to provide anything to meet the needs of their students, not only knowledge, but also with their character being able to change bad behavior and character for many students in the class and even in one school institution.

It's not as easy as turning the palm of your hand! because every student has more than one characteristic and character that must be corrected if something is wrong. Covers all aspects, because the teacher is not only able to give but is also able to receive, able to smile when annoyed and able to sacrifice his feelings when his students are indifferent or rude. This is a form of independent learning so that teachers are also able to control their emotions, know their students' weak points and can help provide positive feedback to their students.

I enjoyed reading your explanation, it is very perfect and easy to understand.... thank you for sharing sir. @memamun
