Greetings, dear friends it's the fourth week of the Steemit Learning Challenge for season 21, and I'm delighted to be part of this contest organized here by the brilliant teachers. This week we are looking at Worksheets Learners. A beautiful topic that I will also want to share my thoughts on it.

Worksheets learners as the name suggests is a learning materials for students that carries details about a given topic such as the title, introduction, content of the topic, activities to be done after going through the topic and possible questions. This is provided for students to aid them in self studies or performing task after being taught in class by their different tutors.
Here in Nigeria as a case studies, the Worksheets learners is mostly used among students of primary school as they are always given the book as part of their requirements for studies. Hence every subject has its own Worksheets learners where an explanation of the task or topic is done and also activity is given for the student.
Now how is this Worksheets learners helpful in classroom learning? One may want to know, if you are a teacher or you have been in school and used this material you will understand that this material plays an important role when it comes assisting students and teachers in delivering their lessons.
If for instance, before getting to a particular topic, the teacher ask the students to go ahead and study about it and the students did as instructed you will agree with me that once the students comes to the class and the teacher explaines the topic again it won't be new to them as a matter of fact they will see it as something the knew before.
With that, ease of explanation and comprehension is seen among the teacher and the students and that is why the Worksheets learners is very helpful in learning. Aside that, teacher may not necessarily write out everything on the chalkboard since it is with the students they will bring out only important points and discuss as the students sees it as well from their own end.

Here in this section, I will be basing my discussion on computer since that is what I teach and the areas that this worksheet learners will cover according to the sample given in the course include Learning Objectives, Learning Materials, Activity, Inquiry, Reflection and Assessment.

Learning Materials
In a simple term, the word input device in computing is a device that is used to send data into the computer system. As the name suggests, input meaning you you should send into. So anything used in the computer system to send data into it is called an input device.
Output device on the other hand is a device that is used to bring out data, from the computer system. As the name suggests, output which means to bring out, is a device that helps us bring out things or information from the computer system.
Examples of Input device are as follows
- Mouse
- Keyboard
- Joystick
Example of output device are as follows
- Printer
- Speaker
- VDU/Monitor
Activity
Students should be able to understand the take home of what input and output device are and also their examples. In summary, let me give them below for more clarification.
An input device is a device used to send information or data to the computer. Example of input device include mouse, keyboard etc.
An output device is a device used to bring out information from the computer system. Example include monitor, speaker etc.

In my opinion the lack of use of worksheet learners in learning can lead to inaccurate transmission of knowledge from the tutor to the learners as they may skip some important things that needed to be communicated to the students.
No man is a reservoir of knowledge and that is why we always have our books to jot a few things while attending any program. So if there is a lack of worksheet learners in a learning then the teacher may not follow due process in his teaching as he may skip from one aspect to the other instead.of following it orderly.
When teaching is done orderly, it is easier for people to learn faster and every single step is a build up upon the other. So following it step by step will enable learners to learn more easily and perfectly but without it then learning may not go well.

Yes, the teachers handbook as well as the students handbook are enough guide to aid teaching and learning effectively and I say this because they are designed in such a way that students can understand easily what they are reading.
Since it is designed for the purpose of learning, it is designed in an orderly manner such that it follows the steps as highlighted in the worksheet learning that I have already explained above.
To effectively pass knowledge your method of transmission must be very clear. So the students handbook and the teacher handbook are designed that way. And it is the duty of the teacher to explain better to the students in places that they don't understand since they have better knowledge than them.

In this section, as you may see from the above image, it is myself in the computer laboratory where I try to pass knowledge to my students as a computer teacher.
I find more joy in teaching and that is why I have always remain consistent in learning and also passing the knowledge to others as well.
