As-Salamu Alaykum (Peace Be Upon You)
Parbatipur Adarsha College is a well-known educational institution in our town. In 1984, this college was founded in the upazila town of Parbatipur, which is located in the Dinajpur district of the Rangpur division of North Bengal, Bangladesh. Although established in 1984, it took a long time for the college to reach its current status through gradual infrastructural development. And the college was not always as well-known as it is today. It is currently recognized as the best educational institution in our region. There is no other such advanced college in our town.

Honours Building and Science Building |
Previously, the college's rival was another college in our town known as Degree College. Currently, Degree College is not even close to Adarsh College in terms of development. When I studied in this college in 2011-12, there was no new science building and honors building. The new science building was constructed in 2018. The science lab at our time was quite small. Although I did not see the new building's science lab, I believe from the outside that if one exists, it would be more modern and spacious.

Previously, there was no honors college in our town, nor was there any educational institution that offered the opportunity to earn an honors degree. To study honors, we had to go to the district or divisional cities. The district and divisional cities are approximately 30-40 kilometers away. Adarsha College was the only institution that offered our town's students the chance to earn an honors degree. This was an incredible development for this college. I never imagined that this college would one day become a center of higher education.

An old tree on the college campus. I had some memories here |
For a college to be successful in terms of education, the environment of the college should also be good along with the improvement of the education system. And the environment at this college is quite pleasant. The college is naturally quite lovely. There is a large field in the center of the college where students can play. The huge tree in the college premises is a favorite place for any student. Students gather here to sit, chat, and have fun.

When I was studying in this college, there was a library in the academic building. There were countless books in the library. I went to the library several times with my friends where there are many types of books from literature, stories, novels etc. Every educational institution should have a library and there should be educational and informative books so that students get the opportunity to gain knowledge from other books beyond their courses.

Main gate of the college |
There is a mosque inside the college. So religious students can offer their prayers here. The teachers of the college are quite experienced and qualified. They behave very friendly with the students and cooperate with the students. Although the college is very beautiful from the inside and has many facilities, I did not like the gate of the college. The gate needed to be improved.
