HelloEveryone!!!

Today I'm sharing my homework task for Micro Teaching. As I'm Chemistry teacher so i choose the topic of chemical reactions for micro teaching lesson plan.

1-Assuming you are given a class to carry out Micro Teaching and you have 20 minutes to do this. Using the sample of the lesson plan above prepare a lesson plan.

Grade Level9th Grade
SubjectChemistry
TopicTypes of Chemical Reactions
Duration20 minutes
Objectives:
1• Students will be able to identify and describe the five main types of chemical reactions.
2• Students will understand and be able to write balanced chemical equations for each type of reaction.
MaterialsWhiteboard and markers,Handouts with example reactions
Introduction(3-4 minutes)
1• Greeting and Introduction:Briefly introduce the topic first. For motivation I engage students with a simple question: "Can anyone tell me what happens when you mix baking soda and vinegar?"
2• Objective Sharing:Explain that today I will learn about the different types of chemical reactions and how to recognize them.
Presentation(7-8 minutes)
1• Overview of Chemical Reactions:Define a chemical reaction.Introduce the concept of reactants and products.
2• Types of Chemical Reactions:Synthesis Reaction:• General form: A+B→AB,Example: 2H2+O2→2H2O* Decomposition Reaction:* General form: AB→A+B• Example: 2H2O2→2H2O+O2• Single Displacement Reaction:• General form: A+BC→AC+B• Example: Zn+2HCl→ZnCl2+H2• Double Displacement Reaction:• General form: AB+CD→AD+CB• Example: NaCl+AgNO3→NaNO3+AgCl• Combustion Reaction:• General form: CxHy+O2→CO2+H2O• Example: CH4+2O2→CO2+2H2O
3Practice (3-4 minutes):
• Class Activity:• Hand out example reactions and ask students to categorize them into the correct type.• Discuss answers as a class.• Walk through one example together, then let students try on their own.
Conclusion(2-3 minutes)• Recap:• Summarize the five types of chemical reactions.• Reinforce the importance of recognizing and balancing chemical equations.• Q&A:Assessment:

2-Still on assumption, while teaching your students what are the steps you took to ensure they are focused on hearing you, and if for any reason there was a distraction how were you able to tackle the issue?

I always make sure that students focused on hearing my lecturer, first I engage students by asking questions related to lecture. During lecture keep watching of activities of students, if they are not taking interest. I mostly asked to repeat my statements it makes students attentive in class. Class activities during lecture from my side also helped to control their focus on lecture. If someone making disturbance in class I just warned him ,if he or she still disturbing I stand him on her seat so he'll/she'll be quite in class.

3-Recall that you have 20 minutes assigned to you to deliver your lecture or to teach the students, how were you able to manage the time? Share with us how you managed the allocated time.

I have briefly give time in question number 1. First of all I recapture previous lecture for 2 minutes then I introduced today's topic in3-4 minutes. Then i give explanation of topic /Presentation of topic for 10 -12 minutes( its may be some time overs according to the topic and students). When all students get clear then i start questioning from students so i may know how do they understand? And during repetition other students may understand more. It covers 3-4 minutes more but very important to ask students. At the end I recap my lecturer, give homework related to lecture it takes 2-3 minutes.

That's all from myside. Before going to end I would like to invite @sualeha, @roohiasif99 and @ayesha0345 . Thanks for giving time to my post.

Best regards

Hi friend zabardast may god bless you success.

You make very detailed and complete lesson plans. It will certainly make it easier for you to teach your students in class. I liked the way you refocused your students by asking them about the material you taught. That way of course they will try to focus again. In terms of time management, you also organize it neatly and structurally. The last minute you gave your students an assignment I think it was quite interesting.

success for this week's challenge.

Thanks dear for giving time to my post.

My pleasure

Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.

You are welcome ma'am

Your lesson plan is good which am sure if you are giving 20 minutes to teach your students the type of chemical reaction, you will utilise the time well so your students can understand you. Teaching comes with dedication which you have shown us in your post. I wish you good luck.
