When talking about digital classrooms, I am reminded of the words digital downstream which were echoed by His Excellency, Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka, he is the elected vice president of our beloved country, Indonesia, for the 2024-2029 term of office because no matter what questions or problems you ask him, When he talked about digital during the vice presidential debate, the answer was always digital downstream because the problems in today's online era really require digital equipment, so in my opinion, in the world of education, we also have to go digital downstream to answer today's challenges with digital classrooms.
I started from a sports degree and received a call to work in the education area. When I taught in digital classrooms, the learning method that I used was 3 gadgets that I definitely used to run smoothly in digital classes, namely
- Laptops I use this to store materials that I will teach such as words, powerpoint, excel which I will later explain to students so that everything becomes easy
- Projector When connected to a laptop, this projector is useful for displaying images on a screen or board so that students can watch them
- screen This screen is used to display images or videos from a laptop connected to a projector so that students can see videos or images like on a laptop, making the teaching and learning process easier.
The benefit of a digital classroom is that it makes it easier for students and teachers to carry out the teaching and learning process. Students can easily understand lessons and directly see the material being taught with the help of audio or video and image media.
The challenge of a digital classroom is that starting a digital classroom requires a lot of money because of the high cost of digital tools sold on the market now.
