Hello friends, how are you doing?, Hope you are enjoying the harmathan season?. Last week I traveled to village for my grandfather's burial, when we reached there, all the family members decided to go to the farm to bring some stuffs for the burial arrangement. When we reach to the farm, we saw some people, cutting out palm fruits for sale. I decided to Capture the scene.
When they want to carry the palm fruit away, I and my mum realized that the palm fruit will serve a huge purpose for the burial, so we decided to buy the palm fruit from them and take it home.
When we reach home, we decided to use the palm fruit to produce red oil.
How we used the palm fruit to produce red oil.
These are the procedures my mum used while converting the palm fruit into red oil
- she washed the palm fruit and put it inside the pot and add water.
- she cooked the palm fruit until it became soft and easy to pound.
- I helped her with the pounding, after pounding the palm fruit, she boiled hot water and used it to separate the liquid and disposed it's precipitate.
- when she brought out the palm fruit's liquid, she put the liquid inside the pot and boil it until it became very very light and turned to red oil.
