Intro

One thing that's probably true which I convinced myself never to blame some persons who makes Tech's mistakes is that, technology has been in existence before us and will continue to be after we pass away. By this believe, I think it's not surprising if one makes mistake or utilises technology gadgets the wrong way since it's (Technology) constantly evoluting.

It's so obvious enough that many of us are doing one thing at least, a day that makes the lifespan of our own favorite tech gadgets unknowingly.

Let's set smartphones as example. A good number of people have at least one smartphone, and out of this much users of smartphone, many go through their phones after not more than 15 minutes after waking up in bed.

Some common mistakes people makes which wears out these gadgets

1. Letting your device to be either too cold or too hot

Just like most other device manufacturers, Samsung and Apple have warned to avoid letting your device battery powered drop below 32 degrees Fahrenheit or go up as high as above 95 degrees.

For example, if there's cold outside it's advisable to let your device especially phone inside your trouser or skirt pocket in this case, it can benefit greatly from the warmth of your own body. And also you should keep your electronics away from direct sunlight.

2. You're probably burning your battery unknowingly

There's no other powerful communication device like your smartphone and as such, it feels somehow when the battery is dead.
It's recommended, your battery should be charged between 30% and 80% not less, not more. In this way the lithium-ion batteries in your phone will last longer .

But unfortunately we tend to charge our phones overnight and by the time we wake up, it toped at 100% with the hope that it'll last longer during the day. You just have to be sure of keeping it at least above 30% in the rest hours of the day . just be sure to keep it above that 30% throughout the day. That's to say it’s very okay to let it discharge occasionally in other to calibrate the sensors, but you shouldn't make a habit of it.

3. Stop Quiting your applications

Your smartphones is actually designed to let Apps open in the background. Forcibly in the process of closing them may satisfy your intention of keeping your phone tidy and easy for operating it again , but for the fact that it takes a little bit of time to start an app instead of waking it up in the background you are punishing your battery every time do do such. You have to put an end to it.

4. Cover Your phones

Y'all can agree with me that this common mistake of not covering of phones is being committed by many on a daily. Some persons still go about their with their phones uncovered without minding how costly their phones are.
Covering your smartphonea with protective case can save your phone from slips and drips, dropping as well as spills etc.
Get for your phone one nice protective case that'll protect it (your phone) from all the aforementioned dangers.

That's all for this tech awareness guys, feel free as I always says, to ask me anything in the comment section.

See y'all in the next post.
