Here is a picture I can't spend a day without staring at it at least trice .
My love for this picture is massive, while looking at it I'm always imagining the best caption to suit it.
I decided to caption it with these lyrics:
"We Are One In The Spirit
We Are One In The Lord [2] And We Pray That All Unity
May One Day Be Restored
And They’ll Know We Are
Christians By Our Love, By Our Love;
Yes, They’ll Know We Are Christians
By Our Love!
We Will Walk With Each Other
We Will Walk Hand In Hand [2] And Together We Will Spread The News,
That God Is In Our Land
And They’ll Know We Are
Christians By Our Love, By Our Love;
Yes, They’ll Know We Are Christians
By Our Love!
We Will Work With Each Other
We Will Work Side By Side [2] And We’ll Guard Each Man’s Dignity,
And Save Each Man’s Pride.
And They’ll Know We Are
Christians By Our Love, By Our Love;
Yes, They’ll Know We Are Christians
By Our Love!"
The person who wrote that song evidently knew there wasn't unity in the church, but still he proclaimed.
Peter Raymond Scholtes was a priest, consultant, and author. In the 1960s, as a parish priest and choir leader, Scholtes wrote the hymn "They'll Know We Are Christians by Our Love" for an ecumenical event.
but the simple thrust of it is a call for Muslims and Christians, and people of all races on the theological basis of our common belief in love for one God and love for our neighbor, to work together for world peace.
Muslims and Christians together make up well over half of the world’s population. Without peace and justice between these two religious communities, there can be no meaningful peace in the world.
The future of the world depends on peace between Muslims and Christians.
Calling on all Christians and Muslims for the restoration of word's peace through the spirit of oneness, together let's make a world an Alleluia; a better place🙏
