The diary game: My Visit To The Hospital After A Long TRIP || ENTRY BY @CEENDY20

A week today I traveled to the the city of Port Harcourt in Rivers State Nigeria ,for a program and spent 6 days in that city. It was a program that was very impactful to me, but the bad news is that i came back to the city of owerri very sick,that I had to book an appointment with my doctor on arrival.

It happen to be that ,the environment where we stayed is not really habitable for any human being,due to a lot of industrial waste in the air, which resulted to cough and cattarh for a lot of us that attended that program, which am still suffering till today as I write. Now let me share my visit to the hospital with us.

I woke up this morning by 7am,still feeling very sick, nostrils blocked, cough, fever and so much pains round my waist due to cold. I managed to say my morning prayer, and since I had an appointment with the doctor by 9am, I had little to get ready. I prepared a hot bath for myself which was really soothing for my condition, had my bath and got dressed to leave the house.

I walked to my junction and boarded a bus going to a place called Ama JK in the city of owerri which was where the hospital was located.

I arrived at the hospital and the nurse attended to me, check my blood pressure and my weight as I waited for the doctor to arrive. I really couldn't wait for the doctor to arrive,thank full he arrived,but I still had to wait because there were others before me waiting too. How painful that be . As the saying goes Be Patient.

I date down at the waiting room , waiting patiently for it to get to my turn. Which eventually did after some time. I saw a lot of people with different cases in the hospital that I had to thank God that my case was far better. Truly there is nothing as uncomforting as any kind of sickness as at. I was able to get the outside view of the consulting run because I won't be able to take any pictures while I side.

I met with the doctor and was able to explain the way I was feeling to him,he checked my body, there was a previous test I ran the last time I visited so with the test result and the new complaint,the doctor was able to administer the right medication for me, plus some injections, which I took there at the hospital.

I left the hospital and headed home, the moment I got to the house,I lay down on the bed and slept off. While I slept I was so feverish and hot, I got up took the paracetamol tablet among the drugs to relieve me of the fever and cold. After which I went back to sleep. I woke up by 6:30pm very hungry even though my appetite was not strong enough for food.

I prepared pap and ate it with two slices of bread, took my drugs. My husband helped me to prepare a hot bath, which I took and am about going to bed. Thank you for reading through my post.
