Introduction

Hello @steemalive, I am happy to come back with my report for the past week asit is part of my responsibilities to always bring forth the progress from my city every week that is past. The past week recorded a step up in our promotional activities as we launched the maiden version of the #smartkontract project and road show

Smartkontract

The #smartkontract which was the latest launched project of the steemalive was recorded a huge success in Nasarawa City. As we initially arranged with the school, we went over to the school on 30th September, 2021 for the project proper. We were able to explain to the staff of the college what #steemit is all about. As we all know that many had already experienced one sad story about online business or the order, some of the staff also expressed their fear. We were able to clear their doubts and I believe with time they will get to believe more. We have @sally66 and @isabello signed up.

Also we are in a good negotiation with Nacabs Polytechnic and very soon they will give a date for us to start up with the project in the school.
Our trip to the College is the #1 of this #smartkontract project and I believe we will cover more grounds. Having to meet people in groups its much easier and the success cannot be underrated.

Roadshow

Fridays are always for our road show but due to the public holiday on the 1st of October and the peculiarity of my City we decided to have the #smartkontract and #roadshow combined. Immediately after the seminar with the school staff we went ahead to continue with the road show. We tried doing some registration which was not so easy because of the network challenge in the environment. @patience90 was so busy with @petersdebby while @apuunik20 came for me to put him through some things. Later on @josiah11 and @stephen140 joined us. @desiredlady was busy with some persons which she will register later, @pato84 was busy with a post on his phone.

The road show was a successful one as those that are already signed up are getting to know their way around the system and more persons are coming to join us.

Training and mentorship

Training and mentoring the newbies is a very important aspect that should not be joked with, because it offers them the privilege to know more and not repeat mistakes of lets say the old users.

This is a daily event in our city. Most of the new recruits come to the house to be helped, because a day is not so enough for someone to know all about the system, also some of them are helped online especially does that are not within the City because we have people from other parts of the country too.

Meet up

Our meet-Up which was supposed to hold in my house was not able to hold in a large format last weekend due to the several engagements from most of our Team Members. But later on that even @joyvictory came around to be guided on the system and @pato84 came in shortly to make a post.

Signing up of new users

The week that just passed, i was able to sign in 2 new users who where brought by @jwinny and @pesh and they have all completed their achievement1 in the new commers community. @goodluck40 and @mesh21.

Engagement amount Members

We are constantly using our whatsapp groups to fooster engagement among our members and I am happy we are doing well in that. Those that are not active are encouraged to be active while some where evicted from the whatsapp groups because of their lack of committtment, they will be added back when they re-register their interest to the platform. This i did so that no one will serve as an observer as everyone is expected to be committed.

Curation trail, 10% Beneficiary set up

The number of those who are verified in steemalive community increases every week, some of them have met the requirements but are yet to be verified, but I know they will be very soon.

I also encourage all the members to set 10% beneficiary to @steemakive as this will help the community build her steem power too, and most of us are doing that already.

New Week Plan

• To continue with the roadshow because it is now one of the major ways we recruit new users
• Make sure more persons are verified in @steemalive
• Keep up with the mentorship and training of old and new users.
