Weekly Food Diary: Here are some of the meals I enjoyed Last week. Take a look!!

Good day for inside this day. How are you all doing? It's an enjoyable moment for me o. Shaa, it's not account only me, I and my family members. Talking about the enjoyments, let's go deeper to how last week went about.

Last week started on Monday 23-05-2022 and ended on Sunday 29-05-2022. School is still on, but not normally for me since I have started my WAEC examination. This means that k no longer attend classes or classes are o longer following the time table.
That's for last week working activities. Let me go into the eating activities.

Vanilla ice cream - 1

Ice cream is a delicious appetizer made From flavours, water, sugar, and then it is frozen to block or ice. It is best severd when cool and is eaten immediately to avoid melting away.
On this special evening after putting food on fire. My elder brother bought us a plate and cup vanilla ice cream. Vanilla ice cream is my favourite.

After licking the ice cream with spoon with my mom, aunt and siblings, food was done and it rightly served as an appetizer. It is nutritious and contains many nutrients needed by the body like protein, calcium, vit-A, etc

Rice And Beans - 2

Rice is the most eaten grain meal in the world. It is cultivated widely around the globe. It can be prepared together with beans or prepared separately but eaten together.
This food was prepared by my brother one hot afternoon that I came back from exams exhausted and hungry. He made it this way.

  • Parboiled and cooked the rice white adding only salt to it for taste.
  • Next he selected the and parboiled the beans. Knowing that beans is either eaten as jollof or with stew, he prepared the beans as porridge to serve as stew for the rice.

These are the ingredients he used for the Beans porridge:

  • 1 spoon of salt
  • Two medium sized onions
  • Half cup of oil
  • 3 cubes of maggi
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Scent leaf

Delicious meals are made in the afternoon... This one is very delicious. Best served when hot, dished on the rice and eaten together.

Fried Rice And Chicken 🐓 - 3

As the name indicates. It is a meal that the garnished jollof rice is fried with oil as well as the spiced chicken. This meal has really been a great deal on chickens ever since it became most people's favourite. Infact, anything rice, I like it🙈.
It is prepared with;
Green beans, spices and seasonings, liver, sweet corn, pepper, salt, onion, garlic or ginger, tumeric, crayfish, etc fish or meat especially fowl meat (chicken).

Rice and beans consists of almost all the six classes of food. Eating a plate of it *the already balanced diet with a glass of water. It adds protein, fat and oil, salt, vitamins, carbohydrate, minerals like calcium, among others. Eat a plate of fried rice and chicken today and maintain a healthy diet. Is it not enjoyments?

Jollof Rice - 4

Weddings, marriage ceremonies, graduations, seminars, burial, and many other occasions have used and is using jollof rice to satisfy their guests. Most people - including me _ and children prefer eating rice over any other food in such occasions.
You would equally agree with that rice has a secret about it's sweetness that it doesn't bring immediate satisfaction until you finish 3 plates. This dish was cooked by Mom. She loves using veggies to cook for us.

It was made with

  • Fresh tomatoes
  • Vegetables
  • Pepper
  • Onions
  • Crayfish
  • Seasonings cubes
  • Salt
  • Oil and water

It depends on the cook actually, but this one is delicioucer if there is any word like that. After the second plate, I had to go and drink water to know how far I ate before I'll eat other people's own😊

Porridge Beans And Potatoes with bananas - 5

Food combo is very delicious, isn't it. When I eat them together, it makes real sense and more satisfying. This food is very rich in Carbohydrate and protein. This meal is eaten mostly in Nigeria. Eating with fruits it's (1) more nutritious, (2) helps in faster digestion, and (3) is more enjoyable.

I was the one that cooked this one. Hope I tried? It is made with Maggi, pepper, I don't like crayfish, vegetable (small), salt, onions and red oil. After cooking, I then sliced the bananas and decorated it. Omoh, come see chopping! I sat on the bed, lose my belts, spread my legs and.....it is said that he who works need to enjoy his labour. I now masticated the food throughly with a second plate.
