THE DIARY GAME @craxywriter 01/09/ 2020 DAY 4

Good evening good people. We are welcome to the second half of the diary game. It's yet another day to share with you how my day went. I have been off for 2days (Sunday and Monday). Because of serious health challenges. I am getting better. My entry post was made on the 27/08/2020

Dear diary
I woke up very early. I actually did not sleep much. Cuz of insomnia, did some meditation then headed to the kitchen. I made the fireside and drew water from the well and placed it on the fire then I went inside the sitting room to clean it up. I could not bend cuz of back ache. So I just swept and my younger sister did the mopping. I prepared and went to work.

AT WORK.
I was feeling particularly lazy to do anything. (Cuz I was not very sound). I struggled and mopped using the raclé. It was a long process but I finished finally. Then a friend of mine came over and we talked and I spoke to him about sreemit. Dunno if he was interested or not.
My younger sister later on joined us at the pressing. She bought food for us and just as we were about to eat...at about 1:30pm. We heard some gunshots. Since it's a normal thing. We ignored. Then it got serious. We took refuge inside the pressing. For over 1hr:30 minutes, we were locked inside.
The whole town was in total lock down. Gunshot everywhere. Then we saw people... So many of them... trecking. We asked and the news was that the whole town should close and go home cuz there was going to be "war".
Transport fare at that time was two times the normal price (to those who saw a taxi or bike).

My sister and I decided to treck home too. We started moving. Only population on the road. It felt ike we were on a pilgrimage.

See the population above. The distance they covered to their homes. Only on foot.

CAUSE OF THE GUNSHOT.
Apparently, the separatist fighters killed one of the military men and allegedly kidnapped an administrator. So it was not safe for civilians to be out while they shoot.
This we had to go home. To be safe.

MY EVENING.
We finally reached home and thank God my parents and other siblings were home too. Safely transferring wood.
We made super, ate and did evening devotion, while everyone went to bed, I stayed back with mum who marks traditional regalia.

It's a cold evening. There are no gunshots now. Places are exceptionally quite. We hope we will be able to go to work tomorrow.
