As a resident of this city, Where do you think is best to live in?
For me, the best place to live in the city of Port Harcourt is Ozuoba in Obio/Akpor LGA. The reason is because:
- The community is the most peaceful community in Port Harcourt city. The problem of cultism, Kidnapping, Armed rubbery and all sort of criminalities ravaging the city do not happen here. I have been living here in Ozuoba since 2012 and I don't want to leave this community.
- The people of Ozuoba are friendly and accommodating: Ever since I came to Port Harcourt city, I have been staying here as if I am in my village. We live together as if we are brothers and sisters, unlike my friends who live in other communities around the city who always complain of intimidation, extortion and constant harassment.
- In Ozuoba community, we enjoy normal cost of living. Things in this part of the city is normal compared to other parts of the city I have visited. House rent, cost of food items, transportation fair etc are better here.
- There is constant electric power supply. It is a well know fact that there is always an epileptic electricity power supply in Nigeria, but from late 2020 till now, Ozuoba is the best place to live if you need constant light.
- Another reason Ozuoba is the best place to live in Port Harcourt City is because of it's good road network. The current governor of the River state, Barr. Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike did a wonderful job for the people of Ozuoba community in terms of building good roads connecting other neighbouring communities like, Rumuosi, Ogbogoro, Rumuokwachi, Rumuokpalali, Rumualogu, Egbelu etc and other internal roads.
There are more reasons Ozuoba is the best place to live in the city of Port Harcourt, but because I do not want to bored you with too much points, I will end it here.
Since you have been living around this city, What's the most awful moment you've ever heard?
The most awful moments I have, not only heard but seen with my two naked eyes in Portharcourt city are series of cult crashes, killings and kidnapping of innocent citizens. I was even attacked and my money taken away by some cult boys at Ikokwu axis of Portharcourt city.
I went round the city yesterday to take some photo shots for this post. These are some locations of Pitakwa city.
