INTRODUCTION

If life was always as planned there wouldn't be any story to write about other than some boring testimony of achievement. Hi everyone in the Steem house my name is @davidalfred I am here to share a tearful story of mine with everyone here.

We all have excruciating stories to tell likewise an exciting one, it happens to all and this happening is an invisible teacher capable of teaching any student, a teacher that teaches with full intention to see improvement from it's student disregarding the fact that students are limited to life when attending the life threatening class. Guess the name of this teacher, "EXPERIENCE."
Experience is the best teacher they say, but the only way to affirm to this is by experience. Yeah, but only when you survive the stormy class can you say, "I have heard and have seen and thus understand and believe that - experience is the best teacher."

The Worst Day I have Ever Experienced in my whole life

It was a day to forget for @davidalfred, while still on my training at Orbits DigiTech Business World. It happened that carelessness invited a well tested and trusted teacher to teach me a lesson of my life. A day to forget I say, but how can I forget such a traumatic experience which has found refuge in my mind. Down to the story.

It happened on a Saturday afternoon when my Boss warned me not to use the top printing sector of our printing machine - Konica Minolta.
I was trying to use the top printing sector of our printing machine to do photocopy for a customer. That wasn't my first time of using that particular printing sector, I have used this sector twice before that day. But my Boss was not aware, poor me I thought I could use it this day that Boss is around, unfortunately for me the process didn't go as planned, the paper had jammed in the inner part of the machine and Boss came for my rescue. He warned me not to make use of the top sector instead I should use the other sector which was the one he personally taught me how to use. He said - "Don't use this side of the machine until I teach you how to use it." I nodded in agreement.

Monday came and my colleagues resumed training on a happy mood, it was a new day, a dirty one for me. Photocopy is what mostly throw us customers due to the result our machine produces. But happy days are gone and yet to return any soon.

A customer came for photocopy and I tried using the top sector of the machine, poor me I never knew I was setting a bare foot on a hot-soup-pot. This time the paper jammed again and I tried pulling it out and something broke inside the machine.

Oh no! Boss isn't around and the machine cannot work for any other thing if one thing isn't functioning properly. And that was my fate for that day, customers came and went their way... No printing, no photocopy therefore, no need for any working. This machine had succeeded in nullifying my happiness.

I called my Boss even when I couldn't explain how it happened, but I'd rather break the news rather than let him come back. He was so mad at me and told me I was gonna provide it... "Oh no! Daddy isn't in the country, so how am I gonna survive this..." I cried in my mind avoiding the embarrassment of running tears in front of my colleagues who were not helping matters rather they made it an element of amusement.

When I saw my Boss step out of the Bus, I felt the ground could swallow me up to avoid his rage. He had already figured out the current price of a new Machine. About N459,000, such a huge figure. My boss came quietly he walked to the machine and tried everything of his capacity to bring back the machine but all efforts in vain the machine had slumbered deadly.

Boss dismissed everyone from work, at home mom told me that boss called her and informed her about the situation. Now mom was mad at me not because I spoiled the machine but because Boss had warned me but I didn't listen.
On Tuesday my tears ran dried and happiness came back safely into my life after a sleepless night. The maintenance man fixed the machine and charged N17,000 from Boss, I wanted to smile but boss became so furious and from that day till the day I got my Certificate Boss was so Strictly focused on me.

The Best Day of My Life and What Happened

All my life I have never witnessed an Inter House Sport before, every time it comes around circumstances would always get in the way building an obstacle. I truly never witnessed it until 2018, mum said no matter what happened I would engage in the Inter House Sport.

I paid my House fee and my name came out in the Green House, though I didn't feature in any of the sporting activities but then I enjoyed wearing the Inter House Sport Jersey... I felt cool and on that day I was absent in school and present in Game Shop - Mcc Giraffe at Ikot Ekpene alongside my friends there I spent a lot of hours playing PES 3 well that was the way we preferred to participate in our inter house Sport.

CONCLUSION

Thanks friend I am really happy to share my own experience with everyone here, and today I know you have learned something from my experience. Have you? I know you did because I did.
  • That day I learnt that to obey is to avoid. Since then anything Boss told me not to do trust me I didn't play with it.

  • I also learnt that days are different and no two days are the same.

  • I also learned to apologise which I later apologized to Boss because it was all my fault.

  • I learnt that to survive experience, one must follow rules and obey them like a manual.

Hey there is it the same things I learnt that you learnt? Oh if so then we are riding quite well hoping to see your own life story.

Don't really know what to say, I guess your worst day was kinda due to your stubbornness, anyway am glad you have learnt from experience to do better, thanks for sharing.

Yeaz sir...
That's why I'm very carefully in whatever I do

My dear it was not only you that had experienced that, when ever our boss or teacher warn us on something, behold if we are not careful, it will harmer us one day.

@ijelady
Obedient is better than sacrifice ma'am...

A customer came for photocopy and I tried using the top sector of the machine, poor me I never knew I was setting a bare foot on a hot-soup-pot. This time the paper jammed again and I tried pulling it out and something broke inside the machine.

You see, obedient is better than sacrifice. Had it been you listened to your Boss warning, this issue wouldn't have come up. But did he still collect the money from you?

Nope but he said if I spoil any other thing I would definitely provide it, thank God the machine was fixed.

Oh dear me. Am really sorry. You did not listen to your boss and you spoiled the machine. I can only imagine how scary you were and how mad your mother was at you. Am happy the machine was later fixed. Please always try to obey your bosses anywhere. The lesson is clear @davidalfred

Yes sir, till today anything restricted to my reach, I don't even dare go close to it.

Thank you sir, for this piece of wonderful advise... I learnt my lesson.

My dear most of these machines are very complex to operate, hence we need to be very careful when handling them. Thank God it was fixed

You had a nice time playing PS3, smiles what's even special about the game is what I can't explain
Better days ahead

Thanks ma'am for visiting my post

I can relate, i was also a worker who worked for a man and because i sold an item below the cost price i was dealt with. Life is indeed that way.

And i am happy that you finally wore the vest of green house. Greetings

Greetings there... Yeah but the truth of the matter is even if we were at their shoes it wouldn't change anything. The only thing is that we tend to forget that we are all humans

It is true, we indeed are humans and anything can happen. Let God's will be done. Greetings!

Yeah Bro I support that motion...

😎😎

Truth be told indeed an experienced teachest well , as per getting applied to you while there learning and doing the business altogether . Storyline is now that , you have force to learnt the value of that particular printing machine . Which you as a person can further applying it on something else.

Wow good observation sir

Glad you had a great day representing the greenhouse and you had use your pigheadedness to spoil your boss printing machine, how I wish you were flogged🤣🤣

Greetings and blessing

😂 😂😂, your worst day is really funny and interesting. Although I know how bad you and your boss felt on noticing such a really machine got spoilt.

I am glad you learnt you lesson and you are now a more gentle and careful guy man. Thanks for sharing such awesome Story.

wishing you success

Thanks brother
Am so careful nowadays

Hello David.

I am happy that you were able to get tye machine fixed. And you learned a bitter lesson from that. We always think we are smarter than our elders until we realise we are not.

Good luck in the contest

It seems you are saying this outta Experience hahaha

It happens...
Thanks for coming around.

Sometimes we have to adhere to the instructions given to us to avoid difficult circumstances. If you had listened to your boss you wouldn’t have been in that situation. Thanks for sharing.

A comment on my article will be appreciable.

Thanks man I really appreciate...
Hope you learned from my experience.

Woohoo!! @davidalfred, I like how remorseful you felt before your boss and mum, that shows that you are a child that has been trained homely, because some arrogant children could not be this humble rather they will be upset they were scolded, thanks for being a teachable child, you will learn a lot from life.

Thank you ma'am for such a wonderful observation... I appreciate.

I'm glad the machine eventually got fixed.

I've never been a fan of green house in inter house sports competitions 😂

I have read your story till the very end.Over curiosity made you to spoil something in the photocopying machine and only God knows how you felt that day.I am glad you have learnt your lessons.

Playing PES on Interhouse sports day was weird. What if your principal had caught you at the PES game centre??😃.

Hahahahaha Pes center was a long distance from school not even the same road. School location - Abak Road, PES Center - Ikot Ekpene Road.

😂😂you are really stubborn bro. Your boss warned you countless times yet you didn’t listen. It was only normal that he will get mad cause he has cautioned you not to use that part of the machine. He had to be strict cause that was the only way it will stop you from causing more problems.

happened I would engage in the Inter House Sport.

Sporting activities are always fun especially if you are gonna be attending with your school mates. I remember I used to run for my school when I was in junior high and I always loved the aftermath when even I won. My classmate will be singing praises here and there . Oh my God it always made me feel like a king😂
