It's obvious that alot of individuals and groups will reference Blockchain technology in crypto currency exclusively. The truth is that Blockchain technology is associated with Bitcoin and other crypto currency, but it has also been explore for data storage and protection in a range of different industries. Along with charity and supply chain the health care sector is among the most discussed use cases of Blockchain technology.

Some of the features that allow crypto currency Blockchain to act as a secure record of financial transaction are also applicable to storing medical data, since most Blockchain as distributed system that record and protect files through the use of cryptography, it's extremely difficult for someone to disrupt or change the data without having the permission of all other participants of the network.

While anyone can join and contribute to the development of a public Blockchain, private versions require permission and are managed by a number of nodes.

Traditional database rely exclusively on centralized server, The use of a distributed system allows for data exchange with higher level of security while also cutting down on the administrative costs that the current system imposes, The decentralized nature of Blockchains also makes them less vulnerable to technical failures and external attacks that often compromise valuable information. The security provided by Blockchain networks can be particularly useful for hospitals, which are often dealing with hacker invasion and ransomware attacke.

As mentioned earlier one of the most important use cases of Blockchains In the health care system is leveraging the technology to create a secure and unified peer to peer distributed database. At this point we say thanks to Blockchain' immutability because data corruption is no longer of concern, in the sense that Blockchain technology can use effective mechanism to record, store medical information of series of patients.
