Hello steemians, this is a post about my city, PORT HARCOURT CITY.
Port Harcourt city also called pitakwa, is best known as the Garden city because of its beautiful trees, parks and gardens, it is the operational headquarters of the Nigerian oil industry. Ph city is also the capital of Rivers State which is the treasure base of our nation Nigeria.

Portharcourt city is also known for its rich and quality education, pH is one of the best city when it comes to education, they have good universities like, University of Portharcourt (uniport), Rivers state University of science and technology (Rsust), Elechi Amadi polythecnic, Ignatius ajuru University and so on. The nearby villages also produces good palm oils and garri.
The best place to live in Portharcourt city
Well for me, the best place to live in ph city is Rumuosi road, Ozuoba, because of its constant electricity and it's activities like wrestling, football and festivals.

They also organizes carnivals in different streets where there are lots of entertainment from dancers, singers and the rest of them. The most enjoying part of it all is how peaceful the area is, you can sleep peacefully because of the vigilantes everywhere. They make sure they maintain the peace and order of the place.
The most awful story I heard in Port Harcourt
The most awful story I have heard about the city is the one about a ritualist who was caught early in the morning by the police after killing an 8 years old girl, collected her parts such as eyes, nose, tongue, skin and ears, stored them in bottles with alcohol to preserve the parts. Now the most annoying part of the story is how the police let him to escape from the cell, after he committed such a crime after all the pains he made the child's parents go through. I was disappointed at the police, for not having strong security because, it's shocking how he escape such a big police station with fences around it. That was actually the most awful story I heard in Port Harcourt city.
