Introduction

This 2022, I have used a slogan more often than not. That slogan is: Business Unusual!! Yes I realize that you cannot continue doing the same things and expecting different results. So this year, as the admin of SteemAlive community, we have be experimenting with ideas and strategies for community growth. I want to use this opportunity to thank our loyal members who have been with us, supporting our every move. We appreciate them so much. As part of my business unusual move, I decided to redesign our promotion flier, so we have a completely fresh start to the year.

The New Flier

A popular saying in this technology sector has it that you do not go reinventing the wheel. Yes, the wheel has been invented and remains a part of civilization. No need to re-invent it. You can remodel it. My point is that while I can design from scratch, there is no need to do that. I simply work with a free template. If you have working knowledge of graphics, you can download and edit - which is what I do always.

I use a graphics software Macromedia Fireworks 8 for my designs. It has the tools needed to design graphics from scratch or edit a template. It took me some time to work on the flier. I got the images I used on the flier from https://www.pexels.com/ and https://pixabay.com/

After about 2 hours of editing, I was able to have something I really liked. So here is new flier gotten from the edited template. How does it look?

I went yesterday to print the fliers, but the printers have not fully resumed work. I will return today to print the flier. We are really eager to start our promotion in the next few days with this new improved too. How do you see the design @steemitblog?
