Ensure that the image is not too large and not too small. Always capture the images yourself. It is not good to use images found online or images captured by others to write your review. In order to ensure originality, try to take your own images.

3. Product Description: It is important to explain what each product is and the relevant features. That is part of the product description. This can include the name of the product, the price (remember to include the Steem equivalent) and other features.

It is a good practice to read the label on each product for product description, how to use and maybe the materials used in making the product. These can give you idea of what to include in the product description. You can still include the name of the company that manufactured it or even the company that distributed it. You need to make your product description rich so that the reader will be properly advised about that particular product.

4. Rating: It is bad to start and finish a business review without rating the business. Rating is an important way to inform your readers what you think about the business as a whole. Through your rating, new customers my want to visit the business or avoid it. There are many parameters to include when rating a business - at least 4 of the following:

• Location: Describe the location of the business. How accessible is it. Can people in different parts of the city easily visit the business? Are there good road networks within and around the business? You need to answer these questions.

• Pricing: Compare the cost of goods in this business with what is obtaininable elsewhere. Is there pricing costly or competitive. Can you get the same product cheaper elsewhere? Its important to compare prices before buying anything.

• Customer Service: How are customers treated when they arrive and during shopping. Are the sales persons polite cheerful and welcoming? Give your rating.

• Quality of Goods/Services: They they sale durable products? Are they known to compromise quality? Do they always sale original goods. If it is a service, are you satisfied with the quality of service? Give your verdict.

Important Note: Be real and original. Remember that someone can make a shopping decision based on your business review. So if your information in the review is biased, that could be misleading. Still on the issue of rating, you can use the following words to describe each item, before giving a little explanation - Bad, fair, good, excellent

5. You at the business premises: At the end or the beginning of your review, be sure to include a picture of you at the business premises. It adds to the originality of your review. If possible, depending on prevailing circumstances, why not take a selfie with the manager or sales person.

A word of Caution

Take images with discretion. Depending on the type of business you are reviewing, it may be wise to take permission from the manager before capturing product images. Thsi will prevent in form of embarasements that may arise as a result of taking images without permission. In some situations though, it might be possible to capture with taking permission first. It depends on the security situation at the location.

Support the businesses

Why not purchase something from the business to create a relationship with the owners. That is even a nice way to allow you do other things such as taking product images and asking about the prices. Besides, when you include the receipt obtained after your purchase, it makes your review very authentic and gives it a higher chance of being picked by curators. Anytime you make a purchase from a business you wish to review, ask for the receipt.
