Introduction

Its a pleasure to get you up to date information with work at the Aba Steemit training center, located at 208 Azikiwe road Aba, Abia State. We have been working everyday at the site and each day brings the work closer to completion. In my last update, I explained that the painting job is complete. Today's update will show us the clearing effort that has really helped to bring more sparkle to the center.

Another cleaning work done today 15/4/2021

After the whole work done at the center including the partitioning and painting since 1 week now, the floor was messed up again with dust and other dirt. No that the painting work was completed, I called @mesonia and @graciee20 and we scheduled to do another extensive cleaning work there. Today is the day we agreed and the ladies did not disappoint. In fact, @graciee20 brought @beewrites and @succyzee and all worked happily to mop the floor and clean the glasses. It was a daunting work that took hours since the floor has accumulated much dust.

After the extensive cleaning effort by these 4 Steemians, the floor is now very clean. Take a look

Other Work related to the center done today

While the 4 volunteers worked hard to clean up the place, I went to shop for the curtains that will be used at the center. It was not easy to get quality materials at affordable prices since there is general increase in the cost of commodities at the market. But finally succeeded in getting curtains and other materials needed to cover the windows. The interior decorator will fix our curtains between tomorrow and Saturday.

After I returned, the cleaning job was already done and it was very impressive. We owe special thanks to the four ladies @graciee20, @mesonia, @beewrites, and @succyzee volunteering their time and energy to do the work for us. @focusnow was so impressed with the cleaning work that he apprreciated the volunteers with 3 steem each.

We had light refreshment and took some group pictures too. It was fun and impressive. Take a look:
