Good day Steemians, I trust you're having a good time! Today on the diary game, I will be sharing with you some interesting but demanding moments I share with my clients or customers as you may choose to call it.
INTRODUCTION
The essence of customer satisfaction can not be overemphasized when it comes to business and customer they say is king which sounds funny, but one has to actually treat his or her customers nice so as to gain their trust and foster a healthy relationship with them.
What inspired me to create this post is to thrill you with the funny experiences i get in a bid to satisfy my clients.
THE NIGHT REST I DESIRED
I had a stressful day and hoped to have a good night rest. I did actually need to sleep early so I wouldn't feel sick by dawn. I tried to round off all my activities before 8:00 PM so I can be on my bed before 9:30 PM. All I can say is that it is not easy actually keep to some of the time schedules when you are a person who offers quality services on social media platforms (this is because I'm a graphic designer who's always having design job to do at almost every time of the day) .
Before i could reply all of my Whatsapp messages and attend to some other messages that i have left pending on Telegram, the time has gotten to 9:40 PM and at this point I was already tired but still i had to complete the conversations i was having with my clients. I finally got to call it a night with everyone i was conversing with by 10:15 PM, then I got into bed and wrapped myself with my blanket like burrito.
DEPRIVED OF A GOOD REST
At exactly 12:17 AM, my phone rang loudly but I was too dizzy to even look at the screen to see the name of the caller. I ignored the caller and felt it was going to be the final time my phone was going to ring, It kept on ringing and got so disappointed with myself for not having switched the phone off before sleeping. I picked up my phone, looked the screen and found out that the caller was a very important customer of mine whom I won't be ignoring for any reason though. I picked up the call and he greeted me, started pleading with me to do an urgent job for him which he was going to need very badly the next morning by 7:00 AM. At this point, I couldn't say no to him but just accept and do the job for him.
I was so tired and dizzy but I had given him my words and I had stand by them owing to the fact that Mr IKOMONI, my esteemed client is one of my highest paying clients. A client who understands me perfectly and pays for services very well. At this point, I could watch my entire hopes of having a good night rest fades away like a wisp of a smoke.
I didn't relent, after all it's the money and relationship I was up for and after. I struggle stand up after a couple of yawns with both hands rubbing my eyes, i staggered to where i kept my laptop, picked up with my mouse and sat down to work.
GETTING TO WORK
I launched the respective softwares that i normally use for work and headed straight to put my ideas and expertise to work, carefully creating a design to perfectly suit the description of my client. After about two hours, i was done with the design and shipped it to my phone to be forwarded to Mr IKOMONI, my amiable client.
I didn't stop at that, i also quickly rushed another pending design work that also needed to be done before the end of the day.
CONCLUSION
In our dealings in business and relationships, there comes a certain set of rare clients or customers who are more like family and will endeavor us to shift our rules for in order help them out in our tight schedules or situations. I did actually got deprived of my sleep last night but I was happy to have satisfied my client.
