SteemAlive City Coordinators' Report for the City of Osogbo | Compiled by @fredquantum

It's my pleasure to be reporting how things went last week at SteemAlive Osogbo under my coordination and this piece is going to be presented to the community @steemalive and the @steemitblog in fulfillment of giving the updates about happenings in our city. Join me as I take you on a ride in this piece.

Throughout last week, we have no record of recruit in our city as our number remains 7 and it's now important that we need to work on our means of spreading the news about Steemit to the nooks and crannies of the city to have new members on board who will benefit from learning and earning on Steemit. We are putting a strategy in place to enhance our recruitment force and hope for an improvement in the soonest time.

Our number remains 7 at SteemAlive Osogbo city as reported in the last report, this is because we have no recruit last week which kept our number on a spot as it was last week. We have 6 active members at the moment while the seventh is inactive as of the time of writing this article. A brief outline of our members with their achievement levels and activeness would be given in the table below.

Note that: The report above based on activeness was taken into account based on 10 days of activeness of individual users which makes 6 active users and 1 inactive user.

We organized a contest in our city last week and which has ended. We had a low turnout of members attending the contest as only a member responded to the contest. The contest aims to test the knowledge of our members about Steem and at the same time allocate some rewards to them from the 20 Steem pool set aside for the contest. Nevertheless, we are satisfied with the only person that responded while others promised to take it seriously next time. The result of our contest can be accessed here!

Though, only one person responded to the contest but we are glad that the member was brought back to activeness through the contest. As promised in the contest, that 5 Steem goes to the first position and in this situation, we only have a participant as such, 5 Steem has been sent out to the user while 15 Steem returned to the reward pool. We would be organizing our next contest sooner as we look forward to having more participants this time around.

1. Our first contest revealed the loophole created by our small number, so we are strongly looking forward to get more recruits in the city.

2. We plan to be meeting physically at least once in a month so as to enlighten members more about Steemit and as well recruit people at our meeting points.

3. We plan to be holding contests weekly to further encourage our members through certain rewards in the form of STEEM.

4. The recent project embarked on the creation of city curation accounts by @steemalive in all cities, we also look forward to creating our city curation account in the next few weeks, although we are limited at the moment due to our lesser number and users newness to the system, we would work fervently to make it a success in the next few weeks.

5. We are encouraging our members to embark on personal or group projects like touching the lives of students in the high school and even pupils in basic school. We hope to gather enough resources to kickstart the project sooner.

6. Also, having a physical office as time goes on is part of our plan. May God help us.
