SteemAlive City Coordinators' Report for the City of Osogbo | Compiled by @fredquantum

Greetings to everyone at this moment of the day and my special regards go to the community @steemalive and @steemitblog. I am here to present my report for the city of Osogbo to keep you abreast of happenings in my city with the members under @steemalive. I took up the duty of Steemalive city coordinator on the 7th of June, 2021, and we have been able to kickstart a few things in the city. Let's dive into the detailed report below.

As part of my duty as the SteemAlive coordinator for the Osogbo city, I am committed to continuous recruitment for the Steemit and retaining them to ensure they are active. For this week of taking over as the city coordinator, we're able to add a new member to our numbers and the user is an existing Steemian that joined a few weeks ago through @fredquantum with the username @msquaretwins.

We have only 7 members under SteemAlive Osogbo City as at the time of compiling this article and the list which contains the usernames, achievement level, and activeness would be given in a tabular form below.

Note that: For the activeness above, a time frame of up to 10 days without an active post is regarded as inactive, and as such, we encourage our members to stay active by making quality content from time to time. Some of our members are lagging behind in performing the achievement tasks we look forward to making an improvement about that before the next report.

In the quest to ensure that our members are active satisfying the retention cardinal of SteemAlive and to test their knowledge about Steemit, we organized a contest two days ago where the city members are required to share their understanding as regards Voting and Curation on Steemit. Attached below is the banner for the contest.

The reward pool for the contest above contains 20 STEEM which we have determined to make a win-win for the participants. The contest was sponsored by @fredquantum. You can read more about the contest here! And we plan to be regularly organizing educative contests like this.

1. We look forward to spreading the news of Steemit to more people in the city as we aim to increase our number.

2. We plan to be meeting physically at least once in a month so as to enlighten members more about Steemit and as well recruit people at our meeting points.

3. We plan to be holding contests weekly to further encourage our members through certain rewards in the form of STEEM.

4. The recent project embarked on the creation of city curation accounts by @steemalive in all cities, we also look forward to creating our city curation account in the next few weeks, although we are limited at the moment due to our lesser number and users newness to the system, we would work fervently to make it a success in the next few weeks.

5. We are encouraging our members to embark on personal or group projects like touching the lives of students in the high school and even pupils in basic school. We hope to gather enough resources to kickstart the project sooner.

6. Also, having a physical office as time goes on is part of our plan. May God help us.
