Stories about life's experiences vary from one person to another depending on the kind of individuals you have as relatives, for me I don't feel that any body own me anything except my parents who have the God giving responsibility to train me as there child, but unfortunately due to Up's and downs in life plus the critical time we live in, those of us that have average parents who struggle daily to make ends meet may not always find it easy to get all we need and as a result may begin to source for means through our relatives, in my own case I was doing job that earn me daily income during my school days, I mean when I was in high institution, I go to market in the morning make some sales of cucumbers and garden egg in bags, that is wholesale basis and after which we will take our commission, and I was surviving with it, until during my final year and I needed a system to enable me right my project, but unfortunately for me I do not have the money I told my parents about it, they tend to feel sorry for my plight but nothing was forth coming, I decided to call one of my aunt who does sea food business in Lagos and has become well established with the business to the extent that she has biuld her own house and also another house she rented to tenants, so I was hoping that she will be of assistance to me, at that period my immediate senior brother was still serving her, but it was quit unfortunate that she did assist, but the discouraging aspect of it was that she started mentioning the names of my siblings and my other relatives and was asking me if I have called those people before calling her, and the one that annoyed me most was that she even mention the name of my immediate senior brother who was still serving her by then, I couldn't hold it but to ask her that if she hear that my brother send me money for laptop or even buy one for me will you not question where he got the money? She could not say anything, so I thank you her and cut the call, I was so discouraged but I decided that I will surely buy the system so I started saying up for it, after some time I was able to raise 20,000. One day I was discussing with one of my friends about my effort to get a laptop for my project to my greatest surprise he promised to lend me with 25,000, and also assisted me by making contact with his friend that sells laptop and I was able to get a second hand functional laptop which I am using until now.

so the truth is that giving is a thing of the heart is not always a matter of family relationships, after my NYSC I visited her family in Lagos 6 during my discussion with one of her daughter she told me of her boy friend who later disappointed her after all the assistant she rendered to him financially so I ask her when the incident happened and she freely told me so I sympathized with her, but then when I traced it back I noticed that it was the same period I sought for help from the mother and she took over 200,000 to furnish a house for her friend who was doing his NYSC by then hoping that if he comes back something serious will happen between them but unfortunately the guy disappointed her, I ask her how she come about the money she said, it's from her mother though not with her consent, that supplies was coming then and she was willing making sales so even when she take some money she hardly notices it. So my point is that though she is not indebted to me nor is she under obligation to assist me but when she had the opportunity to assist me she was not willing to assist may be because I am her biological child, so sometimes help in life comes where you least expect it. In any ways I did not allow that to affect my relationship with her or her family and did not hold any grudge against her, I have truly let go after all God still make a way for me to care for my needs, so I will never hold back from doing anything that I know will benefit her or refused to assist her if tommorow she need my help, but the reason why I am narrating this story now is just for the sake of the contest, you know I need the benefit that will come as a result.

What a beautiful contest writing bro @gentle101. This is really a touching story.
It's really painful when we really need a helped and was turned down.
Jehovah is really loyal to those loyally finding him.
See how he helped you purchase a laptop.
Bro you're really hard-working, no wonder Jehovah blessed your efforts and he's still blessing you.
May Jehovah continues to strengthen you.
